Hi Kirk welcome to the Forum..Stag do's and over nighters,you don't often see those two words in the same sentence. Personally speaking I don't think they belong together..Stag do's are usually roudy boozy affairs and I fear this could be detrimental to the welfare of the fish..

Just joined Messingham Sands,S(censored)horpe Syndicate is anyone else on here a member? Most ready tied rigs are tied by machines and therefore can be unreliable, far better to tie your own..

What do you think of Crimps..My old fingers aint as nimble as they used to be and I am considering starting to use Crimps...But I find it difficult to have confidence in them..Do they damage/weaken the line,are they as reliable as Knots?...

Ive never suffered this problem but thinking about it I don,t see why you could not use a Diamond threader...although if you were too heavy handed it could damage the braid?

I have just discovered Float stops (I,m a bit slow)I wish I had years ago as they make things soo much easier...I even figured a way of re-using them by thredding them back onto 3amp fuse wire...

Has anyone tried the new B%ocks Rig..I kid you not..It,s your standard k k set up with a short length of mono through the loop of the hair,with a boily on each end...sounds a bit weird but apparently when the Carp try to eject the bait it rotates in their mouth. and they find it very hard to spit it out...
