  2. I have had a few tfg rods and have never had prob's but I have heard that on some the linings can come out of the eyes...
  3. Have you got a Boyes store round your way,they do short 6" 8" Fladen spinning rods for £15 £20,they have large eyes and make good stalking rods.I have a 1oz casting weight 6 footer and I have had carp to 15lb on it.

  6. Belive it or not there are some anglers that are not interested in what a fish looks like,they are only interested in size/weight...
  7. The Fox one is designed to be used with a 3oz lead, if you use the Korda surface float you may have to play around with lead sizes to find the most suitable size. I am pretty sure they would work though...
  8. Recently started fishing with mostly semi fixed leads,I just push a tail rubber over my swivel then push the lead over the tail rubber.There is enough friction to have a bolt effect and then the lead just slides up the line...

  10. I think that one of the problems with safe-zone leaders is that peeps think the safe in safe-zone means they are engineered to be safe,where as in fact it means the fish think they are in a safe-zone to feed in...

    Best way I have found to pratice knots, is to get a length of plastic string (soz can't think of the proper description) I got mine from a pair of ear plugs and a pair of smallish scissors then use the finger hole as you would a swivle or hook.That way everything is on a much bigger scale and you can really see the mechanics of the knot and what happens as it tightens down...

    I would'nt Practice your knots till you can tie them in the dark, one handed, under fire, in the rain, at full gallop ...
  20. Rigs will remain the same. I will use bigger baits and not spread them around so much...

  22. I think most peep's will agree that Nash Bullet braid has stood the test of time and is one of the best...
  23. What do you use in conjuction with this, bed of bait, a single, small pva bag, stringer etc?
  24. Actually it was the Angling Times I read it in, if it's in A.C. as well, it won't be too long before everyone is using it...
