He's great lol Follows me up trees - out over the water and everything, then remembers every climbing tree and looking spot on our laps and pulls me towards them. he also thinks every car in the world is mine and tries to get in each to go home lol Not as interested in the waterfowl as George was but still barks if someone goes past or enters the swim ð

I'm using up some old hemp, maize and tigers this year so once it's gone I'll have a look at that ð

Fortis compact binos, brilliant - should have changed mine years ago, these are so steady - couldn't put them down tbh ð also as a review: really like the wader bucket after owning a few months now - they're great, waders are clean and dry and ready in the swim where you want them, deffo waterproof ð

NO - gonna ask my mate to see if he can turn it off in the settings

So annoying, was on the phone to my mum whilst walking the dog, talking about her broken garage door. When I got home every advert on social media, news pages and youtube on the telly was garage doors. Stop listening to me - unreal!

The JAG ones are only 12.49 EACH, what's wrong with you?!?! ð I'd only need 10, that's less than one storm pole ðĪĢ If I end up buying these now it's your fault Elmo! I've just ordered their distance sticks, always struggle to push mine into the hard ground.

I guess you can't teach effort, energy and enthusiasm which the best have in bucket loads. I met a few very keen younger anglers this spring thought there was gonna be too much competition, but thankfully not seen any of them since - talked a good game then the blanks kicked in. Sadly there's been a tackle theft on one of the lakes this year so leaving the kit for laps has become a bit risky so I either check the nearby swims or put the valuables back in the car and do a lap. Moving is exciting you've found something and a fresh new plan comes into play, but sometimes staying put and giving it an extra night is the one - but I struggle with that one.

Exactly this - "gonna need the BIG scales" - woohoo! ðââïļ Went halves on a set of Ruben 120's for Parco - hopefully one day I'll need them!
-
Agreed! also what you've said about the scales is bang on, got the flyweights for pike, perch, chub and carp stalking, gonna swap them in and put the bigger ones in the car - nice one cant believe I didn't do that years ago! ð

There is enough free stuff online to learn from and quickly no doubt, however some things are said over and over but are not digested. How many anglers have said on film you need to watch the water, move onto fish yet how many actually do this? - barely any! I'll be stood out in the water for hours at dusk just watching and it actually makes people un-comfortable opposite - it's like what's he doing staring at the water, I'll shuffle about and hide in the bivvy again! Up at 8-9am, get up spod for no reason, no laps, no move, no watching - yet they've seen the same videos as everyone else. I guess it always comes back to are you camping or fishing? I've got a mate who will not move regardless, and doesn't watch the water, got the technical set-ups right but a bit lazy with that too, hook points etc Really he's camping to get away from it all which I understand totally but in his head he's doing everything that his hero Adam Penning does! Weird rant sorry everyone lol

I get it, I think it's the narration from his garden again, every video seems to follow this format so yeah they all seem the same ð

That Speedboat Linear was something else ðð

Blimey wasn't ready for that - shocker, nearly passed out - negativity about the man, unheard of! ðĪĢ Not seen it yet gotta get some popcorn in - he could say anything at this point lol coolest carper ever! âĪïļ Got my esp bucket hat and Fortis waders, just need the knitted jumper ðĪŠð oh and catch something ð
-
Mega fish - well done ð Great to not see otter damage for a change ð
-
Thanks mate, yeah it has got a big head - should have done self takes with the camera but a mate was there. ðĪ·ââïļ Could be Dinton, VS or home grown

Kev's a legend, best videos and music by far - so funny although he's made me cringe a few time with his tightness, loaded but begging meals lol We've got Dintons being stocked in my current syndi and in the previous one they have almost reached 60lb - one particular batch of 8 have all gone 50+ great fish! There's another guy who's taken UK fish abroad, France and Italy pretty mad really and US fish Dale Hollow being bred here ðð
-
Someone has original leeney blood line in France, is doing some mixes and keeping some pure, Kev's fished there, think it was the first official trip (Fennsmere) or similar. There is a few in the UK still producing leeneys, and some of the cool UK strains have been saved, shame the Bluebell originals weren't done they were mega.

Lol well I do love it, this was 2 levels of grass with a 2 tonne concrete slab separating the two last year. Didnt know what to do and came up with this, not bad for its first growing year ð
-
Another blank, another swims view sorted out but bad news this week, my target fish has passed 2 weeks back - gutted! ð Still I didnt join to catch a particular fish so nothings changed really, still loving the complex so carry on regardless ðĪ·ââïļ

Wow that laser thing is mad hey! I remember Tufties way back at Beedles lake diving all night non stop, what an absolute nightmare they are. My current friends are Brown ducks some with young - female Mallards maybe? Anyway they're clearing me out in 10 - 12ft

The joys of angling hey, good job we like wildlife or they'd get it at times for sure! ðð
