  1. What's the advantage, if any, of using spade end hooks?
  2. Tsd, could you turn the Caps lock off please? It's seen as shouting on a forum
  3. Then you bought the wrong foam
  4. Nope. Just got back from another blank
  5. If like me, you have sausage fingers, you can forget it I find it easier to put the bait on first when tieing the rig Welcome to the forum
  6. It would be nice to see a photo. I doubt you will. His post is over 3 years old

  8. You are only throwing your money away anyway. What ever happened to a simple figure of eight on the end of your hooklink and a quick link? You dont need link loops..... FACT!!!!! Figure of eight on both ends of my hooklink

    Prawn rigs

Me and another orum member did a couple of nights there a few months back and there was a good perch caught then, cant remember what weight it was though, but dont think it was that big 4lb 8oz

  11. I've had a look over previous posts, not much info about Framfield i'm afraid. Hopefully some of our newer members may know if it. Welcome to the forum
  12. It might help if we know where the lake is. Someone may know it by a different name.

    Litter

I quite agree. Not been a problem lately though, eh?
  17. Who says I fish it only as a Fixed position rig even over gravel? My dislike of the Name "Chod" rig It is a rotary style rig and lead set-up, Bomb-on-the-end-of-the-line or Helicopter set-up. You got to admit though, chod sounds far better than chid
  18. It was the best i could think of in 2 minutes It's also the reason i gave up
  19. Both big in my book would it be more likely catch the bigger of the two tho? 50/50, unless............... Bigger fish tend to eat more, so the bigger, greedier fish would want to get to the bait 1st, so yes so nothing to do with the 360/big fish rig then Yes. The 360 is one of the most effective rigs out there. Big, older fish are often more wary, so a less effective rig may not catch either. Failing that, i surrender. You can have this one

  21. I have no problem with that. You know what you're doing, unlike someone new to the game that sees the rig in a mag. Plus i don't like apples
  22. No, because the 360 rig shouldn't be used where small Carp are present. Well that's my view. At least not without some adjustments.
  23. The 360 rig. If used correctly, it should be big fish selective.
