  1. If you live local to Leighton, the best advice i can give you is to pre-bait on a regular basis. You don't have to put loads in, just do it little & often. Other than that, keep off the boards

  5. If at first you don't succeed, give up? I'm glad that i didn't give up quite so easily. It's been a few years since i've been a regular there, but Leighton was the first pool to captivate me when i was learning the basics of carping. My first 5 sessions all resulted in a blank, but it didn't matter, it's a beautiful little water & i loved just being there. I've since gone on to bank most of the residents there & i've never seen a deformed mouth. I didn't catch anything below 12lbs either, perhaps i was just lucky. Leighton isn't an easy water, but it's not rock hard either, if you're up to the challenge.
  6. You only had 5 from the runs water? They virtually jump in your net there The speci lake never used to be weedy, though it's been a long time since i've been there. You fancy a little competition next week Guy? You know i don't compete against friends. Besides, on our last two visits to Pool Hall, i beat you

  9. If you walk down the stone steps onto the wooden walkway, the peg to your left is peg one. If you go to the other end of the walkway, that's peg 9. I'm sure you can work out the others
