I am not familiar with Panasonic cameras but I am fairly sure it has a time lapse facility. This is very similar to an intervalometer.
It will be a lot easier to use and far more versatile than any add on self-take kits with clamps and wires and bulbs etc.
Regarding quality for basic trophy shots, you want the biggest sensor you can afford with a good kit lens. (I was under the impression you were talking about selfies on a 'phone)

I use this set up with my camera. You can adjust the position of the firing pin and I've used it with my bridge camera (SLR size) and my compact. You've just got to press the air bulb with your knee which is pretty simple.

IMHO the only way to take trophy shots is using an intervalometer. Yes you get loads of unusable shots which you simply delete. You then get to choose the best from the rest. If you are are only using a phone try this app camera FV-5 Don't forget to keep the bloopers as well.

I agree. A trophy shot is a trophy shot but the bloopers really bring back the memories of a capture.

I'm no expert with phone shots (I use a proper camera) but try Googling "Whistle Camera". There's several apps which allow you to take the shot by whistling hence no need for the remote. There's even one that will take the shot when it detects a smile I believe.

Fredrick update. Coming along nice and steady very friendly and soft with us and most other people not keen on blokes who look like they are just out without any reason not a bad thing he just chuffs at them,  will let complete strangers handle him the lady in the pet shop fitted him a harness he was more than happy. other dogs, not as interested as he was a week ago, although he did try to batter a dalmation up the woods the other night, nothing major, the dog was off lead and went to approach mine but the other guy made a meal out of getting his dog on lead and stopping in a narrow gap of the path, bit of a clash when passing, the problem is my dog will go into cry and it can be a bit intimidating for other dogs. he is much better than he was and takes verbal commands to stop and stuff no treats needed just good boys. works every time.

One last thing to work on and it's a big one, i may have to admit defeat, and get the dog training lady in she does classes and he needs better dog socialization skills, i can take him to a hound pack farm where they do classes, he is ok with other dogs so long as they don't react to him. a few classes with the right group of dogs will help he is fine with small dogs he does like to let the larger dogs know he has an eye on them. his posture can be on another level especially as we have been doing three to four long walks a day all his fat has burnt off looks ripped. 

he is deffo staying come 7pm he has his cut off time meaning he likes to relax,  very chilled dog in the evening he is friendly with other dogs, just needs to work on his hellos.

the one slight niggle with fred, and he only does it with me, face biting lol very gentle with it then again all terriers can be face biters Dave from the trust had a serious potential for it, i don't mind working with it so long as it's done like puppy play, little git.
I don't think he has bonded before with a human, he won't leave my side he was covered in sweets when i got him stuck in his fur. got him sitting and staying, goes to his bed when told and is starting to recall, all since saturday.

I think with waders there is a proper back to them and you need to start with them rolled down and step into them and then peel them on lol

There's loads of room in the VASS mate.
If you don't fancy them check out the OCEAN ones. Very good.
As a third choice check out the PROS WADERS. Not as good imo but some guys rate them.

i got the neoprene ones big mistake stay wet and getting them on fast is impossible, i do use them a lot though they are like the poor mans bait boat lol plus you don't get the whole cheating bit😙 

im with you my friend on the price of some tickets some tickets id pay to have the chance to fish for some of there fish stock others i would not pay 

with most things im life now its about money and most of that is down to the angler wanting the best gear but if it something that you enjoy why not and time on the back is the way you will learn your skill time to watch the water watch the fish see how they react to diff weather conditions and time to experiment but most of make time just to enjoy your angling being out there fishing

i love them when there pups ive got a 7 year old jack russell but hes a proper terrier not the best fishing dog he hates fish and birds so no good around a lake lol

My dog understands everything I say. Top of his vocabulary list is the word "fishing". His favourite subject.
