It's really versatility as only 1 water at moment I fish is weedy, I've always used lead Clip...inlines for me are mainly for PVA bag fishing, but I like the look of Heli setups, but I won't be dumping the lead either, as stated not a weed water fisher, most of the lakes I fish either have mud/clay bottom. It's just the versitily of changing from a bottom to a pop up by a quick change. Yeh can do on both setups but also thinking of tangles, lead Clip not to bad but Heli to me is 100% tangle free.

Hi all, Decisions... I've got both lots of Terminal but I'm contemplating between Korda Lead Clip Action Pack (clay) or Korda Dark Matter Helicopter Setup (Clay) I do EXACTLY what the lead Clip shows on the pack. But also have 3 of these too...only used once. but the helicopter looks a throw anywhere setup.

Probably said it before but I spray all my Wafter & Pop Ups with the dedicated bait sprays to match....BUT this morning I've put 1 Sticky Pineapple Wafter with dedicated Spray (left) and another (right) Sticky Pineapple Wafter but this is (coated) Glugged in Pineapple Korda Goo... So far I've had more interest and an aborted take on the Glugged bait 🤔🤔...both fished at same range and spread about 3 rods apart...

I do t think I'll ever change...it 1 fish so far this year and 2 fish since September...😁😁

I use Manilla Pop Ups and Wafters, every other day a give them a few squirts of Manilla Bait Spray. Now I've started to use Stix Mix and this made up of Manilla 2mm Pellets, Manilla Powder all mixed in Manilla Cloudy Liquid...fished with a boosted Manilla Wafter. When I start to Spod this year (Spod Mix already bought) I will be adding Manilla Pellets, Boilies and the Cloudy Liquid also. (Think I love Manilla??)

This is Mainly what I will be doing...Hopefully this Saturday... I've got a map of the lake with what pegs are which but no in-depth readings...I will be noting, The peg No. How many wraps to Middle, then half way out, feeling all the way back for features. So hopefully a few good hrs spent searching. Thanks all for your input...Spodding will mainly be on anything 24hrs or more...use Bags for day sessions 👍
-
No worries pal...think the only thing I've paid over £150 each for is my Bivvy..3 Reels and 3 Alarms.
-
Reading a deeper is quicker...but to me there's no satisfaction in that... Feeling your led down pulling a few foot to feel the bottom...tap tap tap on gravel n a smooth glide for silt or mud... Once I know the bottom I will then attach my float to mark the depth. Deepers can tell you how deep n what is there but also don't have £150+ to read a lake.

His All This year Marking & Spodding is on the top of my list...1 water I'm hoping to Hammer this year (seen the local BIG 26lb Dark resident). Got all my Spod setup ready, but hoping to walk the lake at weekend to mark up...I've been looking at a few Marker setups and come up with making my own system. Got a Float off a friend and the Link I've made myself (below). 35lb Korda Boom covered in shrink tube for more stiffer use...quick change link at bottom for lead covered with Tail rubber...Big eye swivel for braid to pass through covered with Tail rubber...both sides Krimped. Saved myself about £5 for the Link but about £12 over all with the float too.

Looks decent...I always start at the back and do it 1 peg at a time like in a zig zag...back point 1st...then left then right then left then right...then finish on the 2 door pegs....usually you can tell when groundsheet goes in were needs pullinng/loosening.

using a blend of liquid food products, an exclusive peanut protein and Madagascan vanilla extract, With no synthetic chemicals or flavours added. A natural liquid with a combination of highly soluble liquid foods as well as salts and sugars. This Peanut protein is blended with other nut flours, along with a complex selection of milk proteins. The attractor package is a pungent creamy vanilla, which is produced by a pure Madagascan Vanilla (Manilla) extract that actually contains real Vanilla beans. "A few statements"...
