Got a few fishing ways planned (hopefully) for thus year, not broke 20lb barrier yet (😭😭). Starting with trying Spodding more, using zigs.

I'm 1 for taking him on every session... This was his 1st session with me... Then just grew from there... I take all of the above mentioned, his chilled as anything when we're out, just loves being on the bed, being stroked, doesn't bark at anything. As long as he's chilled and bot bothering anyone, I think he will be fine, while the rods are out and weather is OK, I play with him, pulls on a rope or chew a branch.

I'll be getting some different bags Friday afternoon, before I go about 3ish to lake.....either be Korda or Fox from the local Go Outdoors.

I think all 3 of em should be good, but it's the Residue thing I'm.looking at more now, the less Residue left over the better...

Just done a quick test of the bags.... Carping PVA Bags, the Larger ones are actually quote small, I know I'm.using 8mm Pellets, but that was quick to hand, 2oz Leads put in. I left the colder water run for a few minutes, was Freezin to me. Left bag I pierced a few times.... Started to melt after 12 seconds, Too much air in the right bag.. Residue left from bag... After 1 minute.... so my quick conclusion is that, i need bigger bags, they also feel quite thick. They do melt very fast, but the PVA never fully melted, any suggestions on some Decent bags, i dont feel that these are the best. I'm looking at the Korda Solidz Medium or Nash Medium Fast Melt.

Mine will be mainly 2mm Manilla Pellets, Manilla Active Mix Powder, Maybe some Crumbed Boilie, squirt of Manilla Liquid....with lead n rig...

Hopefully when I try a full bag later it will dissolve, I'll try it in cold as possible water to see reaction.

Ots only the Sticky Manilla 12mm, crushed between fingers and put into pva mesh ball, put in the edge and was still there after 5hrs...

About 4/5 crushed boilies by hand, out the bag.

Other week when out, I made a pva mesh ball, and didn't even melt the whole time I was there, 5hrs+

I'm 100% giving this ago, may try Friday, but I think the water still to cold to melt the PVA, I got a small and large loader with 50 bags each from Carpking PVA, best to wait for water to warm up ?

If I was to use a rapid loader, what would be the best bags to compliment them ?... Fox or Nash? Heard the bags aren't the best, but both have fast melt versions, also Korda Solidz supposed to be decent.

I do like the sound of this, using running rigs myself now 90% of the time.... May give this a whirl, just shorten my hooklength.

Hahaha, Nah, no chance....little en enjoyed the little tour of the barracks though....looking at all the ways they train/work, also the bomb disposal trucks and 1st response.

Wife's Sisters Husband, he's in the 1st Battalion Duke of Lancaster, Bomb Disposal..... Been to the Wars, front line IED Bomb Disposal. Been in the barracks this afternoon, woooow some of the gear is out of this world.

Set off to Catterick Garrison (Army Barracks) this afternoon with the family for the weekend to visit wife's sister. They'll be looking after the dog for the week while we're away in June, so need to get him used to the place, be visiting a few times before then. I've been asked do I want to do some basic Army drills while I'm there 😬😬, so up early in the morning...... Glutton for punishment.
