Fishing (FULL STOP) is my happy place, regardless of catching, I know the Club Lake pretty well now, the last 4 years I've been on, I've only seen (to me) 3x 20's come out, there are some nice Mirrors in, only about 10 maximum, biggest be 19lb (whuch was out at weekend).....but aiming for that would be like 1 in 300 fish (maximums).

I keep thinking of the local Park Lakes near me, there would be many a Balnks had, but the rewards would be great. 3 Sisters (Boating) Park Lake Amberswood Park Lake Scotsman's Flash Pennigton Flash All are tricky waters but have some gooood, Pristine looking fish (weight irrelevant).

Niiiiice..... Think May is written off for me now, and first 2 weeks of June😭😭 (Family Holiday to Turkey). Also, will be scrapping the car before holiday.....literally dieing a slow death.

Don't think I'll be renewing my club ticket (Nights) next year, biggest I've seen out is 21lb, biggest I've had is 17lb.....they reckon the number of fish in there is around 1k. Personally myself and a mate think there are only are around 250 fish, only good thing to go at is there are only a handful of mirrors in there and nice 1's at that too, biggest being 19lb, I've Personally not had 1 yet. I think I might concentrate on my Park Lake, not been to it yet this year.

I've never had any issues with the 18lb Camo, snagged fished in locked up positions also with it.... Also use palomar knot tyingbrigs to line.

There doing the business so far, just had 1, only about 7/8lb...

Mine is a Guru, dunno what model, but is good for Pellets....

Past few sessions and hopefully today, I've been fishing my left rod to an under arm margin, the 1st over hang tree on left, right rod to 10 wraps towards the growing bull rushes. Catty and Spod have both been in use, I think its the ping/trickle of a catty that draws em in, instead of a rain of a scoop (close in). Hopefully be same spot today after work 🤞🙏🤞🙏

I've also got the Signature,....I'm also trying the local AD when I'm near for the Plum Sticky, heard there a good bait.

I've only just recently started to re use the catapult, for under arm flick casts. It's a forgotten tool I think in carp fishing.

Yesterday myself and a mate were out.... Our lake has snags running down the left side. Mate - Red, Me - Yellow He skipped the 1st peg and went into the 2nd peg, just to get the Angle to pull/bully/walk back with the fish on.... He managed 3 bites, but each was a lost fish, he did everything right, locked up, sat on rods....the lot. 18lb Line, Heli setup, size 4 hook, slow sinking corn.

Looked into going Embryo/Norton Disney (Lincoln) with a mate for his birthday in September (72hr) but he's decided to sell up, another mate has been issued his prince albert ticket and has hammered that since the weekend he got it. Would love a good decent long session, but life n work have now really taken over. Stupidly, myself n another parent have put our names down to coach lads football team from next week.... My lad now does ---- Monday- Football Training, Tuesday - Gym session, Wednesday- Karate, Thursday- Football Training, nothing Friday, Saturday - Karrate Gradings, Sunday Football Match.....aswell as myself and wife working and also wife trains twice a week and dances in a Sunday.....also from June I may have no car either.

Honestly Danny, with what you write, it looks/sounds like something you see on/in the Carp Magazines & Internet Sites. This is a pure inndepth write up into what you love and sure people will take notes of what you actually do. The PB common will come soon, I'm sure. Myself I can't gey passed 18lb, and I'm fishing lakes with upper 20lb fish, but at the moment I think I'm going for the sake of it and I'm looking at a new challenge with a Mate.

Hi Guys, Easter weekend went to Sister in Laws for the weekend again....Good Friday to Easter Sunday (getting the dogs used to each other for when we are away in June). Got there for Lunch good Friday, took the Digs to a Forest walk, ordered takeaway for Tea and chilled the Night. Saturday was abit hit and miss, so we were humming n eyeing what to do....the women took the dogs out, the lads stayed behind, then out of the Blue we were asked "Do we wanna dobsome shooting", thoughts of the Army Shooters raced through my mind at the Barracks Shooting range..... nope, it was a Spring Based DOUBLE EAGLE M46 FAMAS SPRING BBGUN. This had some power 370 FPS, and we were using 0.20g BB. Cans, Bottles, Pegs, Bird Boxes were all in the firing line...... So now, along with Football & Karate, the lad wants a BBgun....told him "IF" i/we do it will be in our back garden only and only with me....so looking about and to be honest, they are cheaper than I thought.... So for around £100 can get the Gun, BB's, tartgets, shooting together with built in net. I used to have a Spring Loaded Pistol when I was younger....

Just arrived 🤣🤣....they'll do the job I suppose. Also tried 1 of the PVA bags I bought....Rod Hutchinson Medium Extra Fill (didn't realise)... Ran the tap to as cold as possible, put a hand full of pebbles out the garden, lick n twist....must have only been about 10/15seconds, all melted. Also had a look at my 12mm pop ups to put in a bag, might trim em.down before going in the bag to jusssst slowly settle between a pop up and wafter.
