I know many people have had major problems accessing the site recently, Android and Google Chrome refused to go to the forum after the ssl certificate apparently expired.
Yeh, I was 1, I use Google chrome for all Internet usage.

Just before Covid lockdowns in 2020, my barber retired from his shop. I had used him for hair cuts for over 25years, and with lockdowns I wasn't comfortable finding a new Barnet trimmer, so bought myself a set of trimmers. I can do my own grade 3 all over.
Once it's shorter not so much grey shows up, but when it's long...
Started doing my own a few weeks back, no.1 all over, or even the wife's miracle shaver, ooooo that's short.....not far off a bicked head that thing.

Past few times out been myself, mate n dog, so be big enough.
BUT today ive found out, the freezer at my nans packed in Saturday with 40kg of my Bait in 😭😭😭, some how the dog has also managed to open and this has resulted in rats having a feast 😭😭😭 managed to save 2 bags (10kg).

I had a chuckle to myself this week as someone on the lake was referring to distances in wraps, and the gradually lowering water level due to evaporation has kind of put it out of kilter.
On the swims I fish, I have a 'casting spot' for the features, all memorised, but at the high water level. This week in all innocence, someone asked how many wraps I was fishing, to which the answer would be 9, but from the top of the bank, not the 7 if I was casting from the current water level. I always cast from the top spot!
I was kind enough to mention that the spot I have baited up to was around 36metres, simply because I hate the wrap reference, it means nothing.
Put your sticks out, and wrap, yes OK, but I frequently walk my lines out, so I'm not going to get wraps, to me it is a proper distance of metres or yards if you haven't gotten metric yet

wraps are useful on some waters
just use both as the situation requires 👍
Tonight I will be changing rod size from 12ft to 10ft, so all my findings in my "book" I will have to redo.

Using a bare lead (to me now) is way better than any tech....could show smooth bottom, but is it clay, silt, mud....they are not the most reliable to a bare lead.

I’m not sure how the new versions workI can only find a dpm version even on trakker website
is yours the brolly or the bivvy ?
It's the brolly, but have the Infill Panel to make it a system.
The brolly is 10,000HH, the bivvy is aquatexx version 20,000HH.

it may help
the bottom of the link says it fits the 100T
https://johnsonrosstackle.co.uk/trakker-skull-caps/20101-trakker-tempest-brolly-100-skull-cap.html
Reference 202254But yeh, that's the right 1....the Tempest 100T has the same footprint but is 25cm taller.
The V2 skull cap also fits the 100 & 100T

Everything is worth a look mate, might work for you there are plus points no doubt. Overall quality is good.
I'm at that point again were I'm looking at bivvys, Don't get me wrong the Tempest is great, but I don't rthink it's all that.
Quick put up n take down, and built well.
But I'm used to a darker bivvy, (light shines through brightly) but with cap on its Ok.
I'm just not feeling it, I'm.looking at some of the Aquatex models, Fox Frontier XD, bivvys like that.

FX1 Std: For me personally it is way too heavy, I'd have to do a second trip with the barrow and getting it in the car on my own can be a struggle.
Size wise my Solar bedchair poles touch the bivvy poles on each side and there is only about 1.5 - 2 feet between the bedchair and bivvy front with the bedchair pushed right back touching the fabric, so internal space is too small - yet it looks big outside.
Condensation wetting the bedchair because the bed has to be pushed right back. The 2nd sheet covers a bit of the top and is not effective one bit.
Pack down size - it's massive 6 ft plus, over a foot wide and about 6 inches deep.
A nut fell off on mine meaning the side bars were un-useable, luckily I spotted it on the patio but had to take the bivvy completely apart on that side to fix it, customer service was good at giving the advice I asked for straight away, cannot fault that.
Nice windows, good quality fabric. Door too wide so it sags when letter box style.
Not really worth a look then ?
