    Dogs and fishing

OK, so reg popped up and he is just right gat carpin dog all over him, got my bid in not holding much hope other than he sounds like a proper jack by nature some people don't like that in a busy home so maybe. https://www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming/dogs/dog/filters/eve~~~~~n~~/1251906/reg

    Thought of the Day pt.2

The new line is now soaking for 24hrs, Sonik Camo SubSonik in 18lb this time. Will spool on in morning, then hopefully walk to the lake with Dog and bed the 3 rods in and the Spod/Marker also. Paying for my yearly ticket Friday, might try and get out for few hours Saturday morning but no promises. Then a few niggly bits like charge Ridgemonkey and get some new Duracells in Square, Double A and Triple A, for Delks, Radio, Head torches....

    Simplicity Wins

For simplicity you can’t beat a multi rig. Just two loops in coated braid. but like any rig you have to be able to tie it properly and use it properly too. imo everything has its purpose, you wouldn’t lash a supple hair rig with a bright pop up at a single show. Or use one on a crayfish infested lake. We always have to keep an open mind about rigs and use what’s appropriate based on; stock levels, angling pressure, nuisance species, crayfish, lake bottom, weed, what bait we are using, how we are baiting up, and plenty of other factors, even the genetics/physiology of the fish.

  5. My standard approach for bottom baits/wafters is a supple braid with line aligner. Like Yonny says, its what I’ve got confidence in particularly when a small pva bag of crumbled boilie is attached👍

  6. I couldn't of picked a worse 48hrs, got drowned setting up, everything was caked in mud. Still blanking my Harris off. At least it was dry this morning. Nice to get on the bank
