Aqua shoes, waterproof bivvy boots

We were issued with gortex socks in the army, they were rarely worn because your feet just got hot and sweaty and then cold, I just took an old pair of wellies and cut them down to slipper size. Luminous green crocs whenever I can get away with them, however I have gracefully deposited my backside in a puddle a few times as they have a sad lack of grip...2 points -

the arms race is on i have one of these on order i figured so long as i only use it from my own peg all's fair. i give you soon to be marketed in the uk, the boat blaster 5000 I can see nothing in the rules of fisheries or more importantly the ethics and etiquette of carp angling that could prevent an angler from deploying such equipment when fishing a lake.2 points -

wellies or wet feet, take plenty of socks and change as needed is my normal routine, those sealskinz socks are said to keep the wet out and feet dry but at nearly 50 notes a pair I'll never know. did get offered a new set for fifteen quid a few years back when I bought my lofty gear, turned them own as I didn't know anything about them.1 point -

I simply step into my trainers at night. The laces are tight enough to keep them on, but loose enough I can slide them on with no hands. I have tried boots, wellies will work, but anything lace up is a pain at night, unless you loosen the laces totally and put them inside the boot. Mind you in winter that can be best...1 point -

i'm willing to call a truce on my belittlement of batboat anglers so long as certain terms are met, those terms are get one of these bb's linked below ( don't worry it is a angling boat ) what you need to do is make a little cockpit a stick a darth vader figure in the pit, also it must play the imperial march theme tune when trucking across the lake. https://www.futurecarping.co.uk/products/v70-bait-boat?variant=37624505794726¤cy=GBP&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gclid=CjwKCAjwnPOEBhA0EiwA609ReWfD0HAQV0BJ-jJJqxmb6qh4ETYNq1ESJz6d3hpz-T3cZy_QM1j17RoCzC0QAvD_BwE1 point -
Food source basemix
Carpmaster reacted to salokcinnodrog for a topic
I don't. Exactly the same flavour levels for the sausages and round boilies. I use any flavour and essential oils at the lowest recommended level for food source baits. I also rarely use a boosted flavour hookbait when fishing bottom baits straight out of the bag over my food source bait, but I might if fishing a single hookbait on its own. If I do use a single high attract pop-up that is normally boosted flavour, the flavour level for a 1 egg hookbait mix, is what is recommended for a 6 egg normal mix, or I will be using a purchased pop-up. This is where I confuse the issue, as I often fish that hi-attract pop-up as the top bait on snowman set-ups, say Monster Crab or Squid and Octopus on top of a KMG bottom bait. I have a feeling it was Fred Wilton originally. I think Sugar based flavours like chocolate or maple, and flavours from fruit ester and from natural product based, can be used at higher levels than alkali or non-natural based chemical flavours. This may tie in with acidic flavours being able to be used at higher level There is a bit of an issue though as some chemicals, like iso-eugenol, come from natural sources like Cloves. If you are fishing effectively over your bait, I do not think that really there is any need to be using 'boosted' hookbaits. The carp will pick up the bait. I think it was a Ian Chilcott YouTube video who recently pointed out that. Boosted hookbaits may work better effectively as a single hookbait rather than over any freebies.1 point -

He has a point to a degree the flavour market is a very mixed bag these days, in years gone by the rule of thumb was as quoted but some of the flavours on the market do little or nothing and some hold some attractive qualties. Alkaline flavours seem to be able to be utilised at higher levels than a good acidic based flavour. JB's flavours are generally very good quality and are highly concentrated so his low levels that he suggests are warranted.1 point -

Who was it who said if you can smell it the flavour is over the top… or words to that effect i know John baker said it recently but someone said it before him must be some truth in it1 point -
