Why does it have to be beefed up? Why not try a washed out or flavourless hookbait, it might just be more acceptable to a carp than a hi attract hookbait.1 point -

I use prawn and squid witch I liquidised myself and I have no rolling problems I just find it will go off quicker than a shop bought boilie but the natural pulling power better than any shop bought1 point
