  1. Minimum 2 (2rod licence) but only ever 3 if my son comes. But I will set up 3, use 2, 3rd will be setup ready to het straight back out.

  2. For a 3.25lb test curve rod, I use either 3 or 3.5 oz leads, and always the same on any trip. Basically I work out which one I need to get the distance I require on my furthest cast. At the moment the longest I can cast due to the weed is 50metres, so I'm using 3's. If I need to cast further, 3.5's cast maximum distance on my rods. If I'm fishing closer-in with my Specialist rods, maximum lead will be 2oz.

  6. Everywhere seems to be far busier than usual. I've just checked the Linear Site and B1 and B2 had 2 swims left, on a Tuesday at the end of September! A combination of a lot of people on furlough (or unemployed now) and the French holiday anglers staying closer to home. I know that peg booking lakes aren't everyone's cup of tea but I fish one quite regularly and really enjoy fishing there. At least you know you are guaranteed a swim and haven't wasted a journey or day off.

  7. Most things that attract carp also attract other cyprinids though unfortunately, I think it's almost best to feed them off, it will also pique the interest of the carp
