    Isn't fishing about 1% extras and confidence though,I would find it hard to be confident in a hook that I don't think will prick the hooks mouth as much? Which Is why I always use a straight point shark hook 🦈

    whereas I'll freeline a whole prawn on a size 2 or 4, it's about matching your bait to your hooksize... a size 6 in a whole king prawn is lost.... especially as it's not hair rigged

    Thanks very much for all your help , Mufty . I'm thinking when we are allowed back fishing the lakes where I go are going to be manic , so I'll need an alternative to ledgering for Carp . 😃
