  1. Past hour
  2. There are few tackle brands I trust totally, knowing that it is right first time, but Gardner are one of those that I have not ever had a dodgy item. In the 1990's I bought a Gardner Landing Net. It lasted until 2004 when it was stolen, I don't recall even replacing the mesh. Gardner hooks I have found blooming (as in to make bleed figuratively and literally) pinprick sharp straight out of the packet. I used their PVA mesh bags for years, and I haven't changed from Gardner Pro line other than a brief flirtation when no-one had any in stock after Richard Gardner sent me the sample batch to test myself before its release. If I ever contemplate moving away from my Delkim loyalty (I've never had any problems) the only alarm I would switch to would be Gardner. I did play with the original TLB's and the wired sounder, they were nice and did look good.
  3. Today
  4. Gardner make good quality stuff imo, my alarms are bomb proof, my g force stove is amazing even after 2 years the piezzo ignition still works (great stove) and a decent price
  5. My thoughts exactly. Rather wait a few more months for a quality product that lasts, than buy a mk1 that needs replacing with a mk2 in the first year.
  6. Sorry to hear that @salokcinnodrog. I hope he pulls through. Those waits @ A&E you refer to in your FB post are horrendous. A very close friend of mine had a stroke last week. He was taken to hospital and dumped in A&E for 12 hours before receiving any treatment. It's completely unacceptable.

  8. I really don't know where to start! It's been a difficult few weeks with my dad in hospital since a fall at his flat in August. Just when we thought he was recovering, he had a chest infection turn into pneumonia while in the rehab community hospital at Aldeburgh, so got rushed back to Ipswich Hospital A&E on Saturday night, where he has been ever since. Back in August I made a long Facebook post https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1JEEY9X2sB/
  9. the boys rods out on the spots
  10. Google AI suggests mid September if you believe that 🤔
  11. Or at least they are actually field testing them…
  12. Guess that boat from China is taking it's time 😂 What a shambles!!!
  13. Gardner said they'll be out in 2025 so they could still be a couple of months away.
  14. Lol.... it is a shambles, apart from that earlier bloke I posted about them, nothing else. Guess I will give up on them tbh
  15. Last week
  16. Possibly be when they run out of TLB+ alarms lol
  17. Go straight to the Burger Box for a burger n wing combo meal I reckon.
  18. Maybe we'll skip this high tea thing after all lol
  19. Thanks for the link 👍 Even though I don't do FB I could watch it. Thinking this might be sods law, despite my earlier reservations on them I might consider getting a pair. However, the lack of info and release date is a bit concerning tbh. Will also wait for any longer term reviews on them if they ever go on sale?!
  20. how about marmalade?? 🤔
  21. Unfortunately Gardner are absolute pants with social media so can’t find much the video I took the screenshot from is one about back leads really and the alarms are just a couple of clips https://fb.watch/BT1qeTCeoy/?fs=e
  22. Isn’t Darren henwood (dalectronics) is having something to do with these as he did the originals.
  23. Never been a jam fan
  24. Have done as a previous post: "Just an update on this post.... Last week one of my old ATTs started to play up after many years of trouble free service, bit of a bodge job to get battery chamber working again but now doesn't seal properly! 😕 Anyway, out of curiosity last week I emailed Gardner via the web site about any release date for the new alarms, no response - probably not surprised tbh. Actually wondering if they will ever appear?" Hopefully Gardner not going T*ts up as a company, still got a long supply of their hooks I use 👍 But tbh (errr) sorry for 'speak not speaking engurlish'..... I would have now been considering at last to buy some but.... maybe they are on a slow ferry from China??
  25. My son has been trying to catch a carp from the park lake for 11 months. (Doesn’t help it’s a tricky water, he’s only been able to do weekend days, taking whatever swim is left and to top it off, I had the 3 out the other night while he blanked) Today he finally had the bite he’s been dreaming of all this time that photo says it all I think… 18lb 8oz (whilst wearing my lucky fox hoodie…) caught on a home made premier superaminos boilie with shellfish sense appeals and belachan. Freebies were 12millers that I rolled. My little girl rolled some 25-30mil baits from the scrap ends, he caught it on one of those! buzzing, when it hit the net, we both screamed for joy! That’s what this game is all about, that buzz
  26. Have you emailed Gardner themselves that might be a good idea. They will know more than us.
  27. Yes I did actually ☹️, just saw the play arrow and clicked on it - and I used to work in IT 🙄 Anyway, still awaiting any more info on them, if you know where this video clip can be seen I would like a nose at them but I don't do face ache
  28. We need the Jam
  29. No lol the boat became an outdoor tackle store! Rods and reels 🤦🤣
