theflettonblanker Posted October 25, 2009 Report Posted October 25, 2009 Im looking at getting on a sydicate water in northants that dont have a massive waiting list. Dont want some ultra hard water, but not looking for a runs water either. Any ideas will be much appreciated. Ohh and i dont want to travel miles either im near Kettering. Quote
coops_northants Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 There are loads mate, Not much of a waiting list on any water if you know who to speak to. What waters do you fancy so far?? also what do you want to spend. What is your target for the year?? if you know what you want to achieve the list gets smaller. Quote
theflettonblanker Posted October 26, 2009 Author Report Posted October 26, 2009 Quite fancied Wellingborough lakes or ecton. I dont want some ultra hard water but dont like the runs waters, somewhere inbetween would be good. These are the only 2 syndicates i know of apart from the really expensive ones. Would spend about 300 quid on the right place. Im fishing over at brightwells at the min but fancy a change. Quote
theflettonblanker Posted October 26, 2009 Author Report Posted October 26, 2009 Ohh and im not looking at catching monsters 20/30s keep me happy. Thanks Quote
carlsg Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 what about romans at stanwick coops has a better idea of the place though http://www.stanwicklakesfisheries.com/ Quote
slimysime Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 coops might know more about this, but i think it's a two year waiting list Quote
coops_northants Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Yeah there is a waiting list for roman, If the guys know you then maybe not so bad to get on Having the other waters is a good way of vetting potential member if you catch my drift. I fancy a year or 2 on roman at some stage..... I am on wellingborough, Its a good mix to be honest but if this year is anything to go by then its busy...... We will see about next year. Ecton is cracking, one i fancy too. The list is endless, you could go on Ditchford (where i learned how to fish) if you can get on. Also south view farm is an awsome place, So many to have a go at. theflettonblanker Posted October 26, 2009 Author Report Posted October 26, 2009 Where is south view farm?? Someone told me sulby reservoir is not a bad place to fish but i dont know anything about the place. Considering getting a winter ticket for wellingborough maybe might help getting a ticket next year?? Quote
coops_northants Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 South view is just up the valley from stanwick. its a good pit. The winter ticket for wellingborough lakes is great see if you like it or not? Quote

Deadman’s shoes scenario from what I’ve heard taking to a lad thats on there this year. Believe he said there’s a only a handful of known carp in there. Quote
Carpbell_ll Posted August 2, 2021 Report Posted August 2, 2021 stanwicks do a good year ticket and you get to fish elsons in the winter and it is unlimited night fishing on the other waters bar roman all for two seventy that is a bargain price. plus they run three syndicate waters i would think to get a syndicate ticket you would need to do the year book first?
