S34MH1
When you go fishing How many fishing rods do you use? What is the distance between the fishing rods?
framey
Depends sometimes I will use 1 even on a 3 rod water sometimes 3 isn’t enough and I could easily use 6 or 7 if I could lol S34MH1
yonny
I will use as many as I feel I can get away with up to a maximum of 3. So if I have a load of water in front of me and I feel my chosen spot(s) can accommodate 3 then I'll use 3. If the swim aint so big or the spots are small I might use 2. In a quiet corner I might use 1. All depends on the swim and the angling situation. 13 hours ago, S34MH1 said: What is the distance between the fishing rods? Depends where the spots are in relation to the swim. Normally they'll be on the bars/sticks so right next to each other. S34MH1
salokcinnodrog
1, 2, or 3 One is sometimes enough, two might be water limit, or 3 if allowed and the swim is suitable S34MH1

The 3rd rod was already baited, with a stringer nearby, so I could quickly recast after a fish. It's one reason I don't always clip up, and go by 'cast memory'. Even so it is rare for me to overcast into a tree or onto the far bank, and I can feather it down if I feel it was too hard.

The lake I've started to fish now has 3 features (for me) and each is exactly 15wraps to each 1. But half a rodength further, and I'll have no end tackle left on either rod 🤣 S34MH1
