Unhooking mat/cradle for mobility

Hey Guys,

 

I'm hoping to fish the canal/stalk alot more this year and i was just wondering what you guys use mat/cradle wise to stay mobile.

 

I have a cradle but it's a pain to carry along with a rod/net/buckets ect.

I think this answers your own question mate, staying mobile would be mat only for me

Same here, a nice big mat folded in two and carried on straps makes a lovely receptacle for stalking gear/tackle.

Thanks Lads, Was just curious of other peoples opinions.

I have a big Daiwa beany mat somewhere which i think i'll start using again for stalking. I'll see if i can find it.

Aqua combi mat folds in half and has a nice shoulder carry handle

I'm surprised that no one's come up with an inflatable mat for stalking, it could be pumped up with a small bike pump

Shop around as there are deals about as I think they have just squared the corners on the new ones.

I use mine for carp, pike, roach, tench and chub fishing where I am roving along various spots.

It has a carry handle, and the pegging points attach to straps to my Ruckbag.

The fox easy mat looks pretty compact when packed away...thats judging by the pictures anyway lol. I've got one of them small roll up mats for stalking but feel guilty putting fish on it so I end up taking a giant cradle 😂😂
