Do you mean bishops bowl Ian ?

No mate. The Bowl is one of the pools on the Arden Fishery complex, it's the second oldest after Orchard Pool. It's hardly ever fished as it's a bit of a climb down to reach it and people just don't bother.

Except people like me and my son, Alan. We've had some very good fish from there.

no comprhendi.

Phil and I know each other well, having fished several socials together over the years.

As a result he knows that my favourite film of all time is S n a t c h by Guy Ritchie. The word S n........etc is colloquially associated with ladie's interesting bits and the autocensor built into this forum's format blanks it out with asterisks.

Fairly straightforward but a bit of a nuisance.

Minge

EDIT - That works but s n a t c h doesn't  The fantastic filter once again shows that it isn't actually worth much

Dal, part of me agrees with your comment about the fantastic filter but I've visited some other forums in the past where profanities appeared to be compulsory, never mind acceptable.

I'd rather stay with things as they are, it's one of the things I like about this forum........I'd be happy to let any member of my family have a look.

Ian, I agree with you 100%.

I swear like a trooper, but it just isn't right when it's used in the written word.

I've also visited some sites where there is no swear filter and every other word is a profanity. Needless to say, I didn't stay long

But it's not gonna stop me having a pop at our swear filter every now and then
