mwesty
I have just seen a video from Korda with there chod rig, looks fantastic and l will give this a blast ut have a couple of questions... 1. Where they have used bristle filament can l use my korda hook link 29ilb? 2. Do you have to use the d-rig or will a hair work the same. 3. If no is the answer to hair rig how on earth do you get the boilie on lol, l dont fancy tying a little rig late at night or early morning
bobstains
Hello and welcome to the forums 1. Yes as long as its fairly stiff and holds a curved shape well. 2. Hair will work, but tying gives a better presentation. Why dont you tie a few boilies up beforehand and then all you have to do is tie it to the ring. Saves farting around at 2am with cold wet hands. 3. See 2. Have fun p.s. I got some bore rings free with a mag, whilst I won't use them they take the hassle out of tying on a bait. They are basically a ring with a spike on so you can just spike the bait.
zammmo
If like me you don't fish long sessions, then pierce the boilie with a baiting needle pull some fine mono through hook a boilie stop through then tie it to your o ring. As I say ok for 18hrs or so but use as boayant a bait as you can find.

cobleyn
Surely you mean khods?
craftycarpermatty
if your using the d rig with a rig ring why not loop some small wire through the ring and push into the boilie for quickness?i personaly find it easier to thread a bit of bait floss through the boilie and attach with a boilie stop do a couple of overhand knots under the boilie then tie to the ring job done. Guest Anonymous
is it best to have a chod rig with a slight curve tho guys because when i use it i dont, i prefer it straight and true and i have still caught ????
sgart
The curve is just there to help the hook settle easier I think. Like tubing does on a withy pool rig.
