  1. as far as I'm aware you can't buy single rod license's .
  2. Good marketing video ! One thing that sticks is what Ali said about time , he says when you only have 1 , 4 or 5 days on a lake he's talking massive waters , once in a lifetime waters not your normal UK venue that you visit every week building a picture up of the lake for your self. He also probably got a massive discount for doing the video LOL.
  3. But then you have to leave your dongle hanging underneath flapping aroundšŸ¤£
  4. I generally wouldn't be baiting much this time of year , stick with boilies . Bream love maize
  5. I don't think Delkim are marketing this alarm to people that want a receiver though .
  6. I get some not liking silent ATTs alarms as its a personal preference , but your just as likely to forget any other piece of equipment than you are the receiver .
  7. but they couldn't could they if they forget their net or alarms or bait , not sure what your trying to make either !
  8. Just as perplexed as the guy who forgets his net , bait , alarms etc etc LOL
  9. Bit of an odd argument about forgetting the receiver you could apply that to any item of tackle .
  10. and add Ā£147 for the receiver....!!!! That's a mighty large markup for a couple of pence worth of circuitry and solder... but then whenever has a high end tackle firm not taken the chance to make a buck....?? and as you say... it is a business.... Edited just now by bluelabel Oh dear , as with all things the final retail price is far from the cost of parts , good luck to any one with the balls to start a business !
  11. They could if they wanted to , but why would they when they can make more money doing it the way they are . They are afterall a business out there to make money .
  12. I still do nights on some waters with out a receiver , your ears should be tuned so you don't deep sleep anyway.
  13. The ev-d is aimed at the customer who doesn't want a receiver , Blue has the Att receiver so it makes sense to buy the dongles .
  14. They could but then from a business point of view there is no progressive ladder for the customer to climb .
  15. No the dongles are available in 2.5mm versions , if your not sure then probably best sending Gardner (atts) a message . No reason that i can see why the won't work though .
  16. No reason why not as it has the 2.5mm jack plug socket .
  17. If that stuff is in retro's shropshire gold then it must be at very low levels as it doesn't smell through the bags , I'll see if Nick will tell me sometime .
  18. When Nutrabaits used to sell the Asafoetida essential oil the small dropper bottle used to packed in bubble wrap then in a sealed plastic jar and you could still smell the stuff at 100yds
  19. Its one of them that will keep us guessing , they use the scent in Royal marine as well so could be fish/crab . I've had several people tell me asafatodia but could be Chinese whispers I blame Simon
  20. I think @elmoputney is just trying to throw us off the scent by talking about different companies and different flavours , maybe he's been scent from hell .
  21. What's in a name LOL who's simon LOl
  22. I'm not sure Simon from Baitworks has ever told anyone whats actually in Scent from Hell .
  23. Service is always spot on from them !! I've never detected Scent from hell (asafotedia ) in them though , the wife can always tell when I have the Garlic ones delivered .
  24. I've been on a different water the last 3 weeks and nothing has been coming out , but up untill 3 weeks ago I was doing well on Shropshire gold soaked in Hydro squid using a scent from hell pop up . Not bothered with the winterised one . The Retro shelf life are good just a little firmer I always try and keep some shelfies in my bag or car just in case I forget me bait (what wally would do that :)). Nick (retro) is doing the snail pop ups in 14mm now as well you just need to ask him .
  25. fishmeal fishmeal fishmeal , did I say fishmeal LOL , I'm biased as I use retro but plenty of good fishmeal baits out there .
