Just my 2peneth but I think all carp feed differently,so different rigs will react differently to how they feed.

If you have a rig that works why would you want to change it bud?
 
Stick to what catches you fish fella. If you start changing things for the sake of it you can end up ruining your chances and not knowing why.

You do realise they are all the same rig really, hooks at same angle etc

This is the one i have , Not waterproof but well made and will keep you warm.

Yes the thread did help out a bit but mine is the old rx 2000 and most things mentioned are new tech.
 
Potentially the wifi on my phone caused it as I forgot to turn it off!! No wonder my battery went fast as well. My bad. Could be why it's never happened before as well as I always have it off.

The same guy also has other adds on GT, seems he is closing a shop of some sorts, got eight grands worth of unused end tackle up for sale, wants 3500 for that.
Just shows how low the resale value of fishing gear is, a lot on here thought it might be a bit dodgy at that price,

I doubt its nicked either, some guys get fed up or life gets in the way so they flog it all, seen the same on ebay

dunno mate, i was put off boot sales due to a derogatory post that chillfactor put up comparing JB Sports to boot tack so i thought i had better play safe.

I doubt it is nicked, too many boxes with reels and spare spools, plus the guy is selling from his home address, now if he wanted to meet in a pub car park or a service station, that would raise an eyebrow or two.

I managed to pick up a gardner deluxe boilie gun and rolling table for £3. never used either.
