    Tim I think you change your user name to the bird man of Essex . Used to keep finches when I was in Braintree till the rats got in one night gave up after that.

    Sad about your dogs. In same situation few years back, waited about a week then got another one no problem now.

    hi chaps lads going out sunday and thinking of trying the zig rig. Question is when fishing zigs do you use anything on the mainline ie.tubing etc.

    Hi I was told this when I asked my local tackle shop owner is my lead I,m using to light. When fishing a running rig in conjunction with a light lead ,as the fish moves off there is little or no resistance,so by the time the carp realises something is wrong the hook bait is well back in its mouth,and it's to late for the fish to eject it.
