  1. I must admit,it does look like it does it all
  2. So I'm taking it it's the sinking to the deck proprieties you boys are wanting to achieve?
  3. Stay on em then if nobody else is using them
  4. Just my 2peneth but I think all carp feed differently,so different rigs will react differently to how they feed.
  5. Air tight container will kill em,mate.
  6. I agree Mufty, mate. But I'll be honest I'm quite happy with the point,St Mary's is a hard place to go and it's another dodgy away fixture out of the way !
  7. And peanuts are better than boilies.... I await your repost with great anticipation
  8. What hook pattern you use Phil !
  9. With the multi rig the hook holds are always sound. Overweighted the nibblers normally get caught out. A few of the lads started using the Ronnie rig a few months ago,and its caught fish but so has the multi. I like my pop ups at least an inch + off the deck but that's a personal thing.
  10. I use shrink tube on a multi rig sometimes.... it's a one bite rig tho.
  11. Shrink tube on a multi rig ?
  12. Except the hookbait ! They find it every time !
  13. I've still caught after I've been dived on.
  14. I'll be honest, yes. Mainly in the spring when fishing the shallower water. I hatched a plan last year. Hemp,French maize, tares and a few chopped Krill boilies with a 10mm pop up fished over. Half a loaf fed up water then a cast out. Plan sorted...... NOT. After they finished there bread they just made there way down and spent the next half hr looking and finding my baits
  15. I normally do like a nice spread over my hookbait but my local been fishing slow the last few wks and the fish I had was over a few baits cattied over an overweight pop up
  16. Tight baiting
  17. I use the rig foam to catty a few freebies over I sumtimes over weight my pop ups if the fish are on a munch
  18. I set my rigs so they fall flat, with the aid of 2 bits of rig foam.a nice slow drop on a straight hooklink the hook comes into contact weight wise as soon as the hook pricks the lip. I use N-Trap can't get on with snakeskin tho,as much as I try the coating splits as I tighten my knots
  19. I've had a few fish on the same rig, never had a problem with any coiling after a good steam.
  20. I use semi stiff for all my multi rigs, steams nice and straight and never had no problems with them
  21. I'll admit it was when pleasure fishing using lighter tackle with sprayed maggot but I could also see it happening with sharp hooks light leads
  22. I use rig foam on my multi rigs all year round, luv the way it drops everything nice and flat. I have caught the odd leaf in the past I must admit. I've caught them mid water as well.
  23. My match reels always had 100m on em,smaller spools
  24. I use to use old shoe laces to back up reels .... long time ago tho !
