hi all, just wondering does any one know of a nice water near me [leicester] but i am willing to travel up to 60miles, i'd prefer a small syndicate water up to about 10acres, with a decent head of fish, i am willing to pay up tp £300 for a season ticket any ideas people sime

I can only say practise practise & practise, try tying the knot on cheap mono i'st then move onto your preferd hooklength material,good luck pal

hi members has anybody fished or knows anyone who has fished stanwick lakes, been looking at it, and looks very nice, any ideas would be appreciated cheers all

fished it twice last year mate at the back end of november 1'st session did a 48hr no good, 2'nd session did 48hr again,1'st 24hrs nothing, then woke early next morning to find lake frozen but did find a few useful things out,keep your rigs simple, the bottom on most of the lakes is clay and some gravel patches, and weed here and there, dont put the spod out as ive been told this is the kiss of death, go with the mesh, most quality baits work there ive been told, dont be afraid to ask tony or the bailiff,

its on th little hill estate mate go down launceston road towards the viking tung pub, go past the pub and on your right side you will see a road called, durnford go down that for 200 yards then take the next right onto barford, then you will see a alley walk down it and over that nasty bridge, just a word pal unloade you car at barford but dont park it there the owner and resdents go mad at you, theres some big cats in that lake, but the bridge is a pain hope this has heped sime

hi lads has any one fished a lake caled bills lake? ,as i'm thinking of going soon, any ideas on tactics, bait,bars etc etc

hi lads, just a quick one, i will be fishing next week at a 3.5 acre pit, its a cracking looking water with some nice fish up to 32lb, but the lake is covered in about 2ft of silt all over, how would you lads present a bottom bait, not popped up, and secondly wot size and shape of leads would you use, bearing in mind i wont be casting more than 20/30 yards. phewww i think ive covered my needs here, any thoughts would be great sime

just got back from orchid fisheries after a 2 day session with no success has anybody got any ideas how to fish the water as i would love to go back again, any comments would be gratefull.. thanks
