somewhere to fish and camp down south

if you look around dawlish in devon there are some great carp waters with plenty of camping close by and the coast is only 5mins away. -
if you speak to ruth or one of the lads in yateley angling centre they can give you updated info on the lake. baits ,swims etc.

if you just have a walk around lake spend a bit of time spotting the fish then get your bait on them you will have a great time.dont over complicate things keep it simple. and dont neglect the margins. hope you have a cracker mate. yateley complex has some fantastic fishing.

Hi mate. what lake will you be fishing. day ticket or season ticket. there is a few lakes run by cemex in yateley.also you must consider what tackle to use as a few lakes hold very big cat fish over the 60lb mark.

never used leadcore. bad stuff. have used choddy with mono though with no probs what so ever. leade3r wise if you have to use one try 20lb iQ with a bit of putty to sink. but never leadcore.

Hello. i will be fishing yateley over the coming season and would like to know if anybody needs a lift . i live in binfield so if i can help out let me know. I will be doing 2 weekend sessions a month and 2 weekday sessions. these will be during the day only.

Hello all. ive just been reading some older threads and in one it said you could fish welly park on a day ticket. is this true and if so how do you get tickets.

if this lake has never been fished then this could be a tricky venue. Do the owners feed the fish, if so do they use pellets?. are the fish left to feed on natural foods? tigers, corn, tares could all work if this is the case.

I know bracknell is the armpit of the south but somebody must fish in the area.

Hello all. I fished a small lake at the weekend in bracknell. the lake is called farleymore?. Had a couple of small common and a mirror to 12lb.was told by a few of the lads on the lake it hilds a couple of low 20s. Can anybody confirm this .

Hello. don't know if you have fished it but california country park hold some nice fish. day ticket from carpark machine.fished it a couple of times last autunm, had a few low to mid doubles. and its a quiet water . did'nt see another angler the days i fished. -
