  1. 65ft of leader? Seriously? most of the fish iv caught have not even been from out as far as that I've fished with people who can't cast that far
  2. I guess it depends where you are but round here i would say average / cheap , regarding the 30's unless you have seen them remember most owners tend to add a few pounds to make the lake more appealing

  5. I just love the thought of a little lake you could almost call your own with only 9 others on it still wouldn't be rammed , all sounds to good to be true

  7. Assuming it has a few fish in it and it was local to me so i could easily pop down for an evening session i would happily pay £400 a year for that probably more

  10. Never fished there but you will probably find most of the fish come to one bait i.e. the bait they feed the fish on with that in mind i would then fish something totally different , bright yellows or reds ,very bright very smelly the Richworth ones are great . This lake is very pressured and in my opinion something different may just give you an edge ,i'm thinking one fish and you should leave happy .
  11. I have settled on shimano aftrer buying 2 sets of cheaper reels i brought 6000gte's which are great reels but last year found a set of 8000xte-a 's second hand and mint the differance is amazing they are so smooth . One of my old customers once said to me what ever you buy get at least one model up from what you think you need and generally you will be happier with your purchase .
  12. Cemex Yateley Yes Syndicate water , many of the fish transferred from the Blue Pool ,from what i can tell a rather hard water.
  13. Never fished it but its one of 3 waters that have produced over 1000lb of fish in a 48 hr match at some point they put in 14000 small carp , im guessing get them going and you will have fun but you will need a lot of bait
  14. Are you looking for a day ticket type water or an exclusive lake , is it just the 2 of you going or a group and finally are you going to be fishing or socialising ?
  15. Just keep using braid if that is what you like to use , yes it is possible it may cause damage but so can other hook link material
  16. They held the finals for the BCAC there last weekend check out their website , in 48 hrs the winning pair caught 16 fish i think the bottom pair caught nothing , mostly low to mid doubles .
