  1. With a waiting list about 5 years long at least.
  2. I know a good few carp have been taken off the top at Rushes lake this year.
  3. I'm glad that after 15 years he has decided to clean the place up a bit. Last time I went their was more rubbish than the local landfill Not for me but it does have a good head of fish and is reasonably easy fishing.
  4. Thread a small sliding rubber float stop onto the hair first and then slide it up against the bottom bait.
  5. As for the 50lb cat i dont think its been caught or seen I would take it with a pinch of salt. There are some nice carp into the 20s but a mate of mine who fishes it on a regular basis has never seen or heard of a definate 30lb carp out of it. It does get busy and being a small water you might struggle for a decent swim so be prepared for that. When I last fished it I absolutely murdered the place on mixers so floaters have got to be worth a go. Jez
  6. I'm confused how do you use a korda safe zone leader as a shock leader when its only 24inches long. A shockleader needs to be at least 20ft long.
  7. £300 is the price mate so if you aint prepared to pay that it aint worth a visit. thanks chap, that really answered my question, really helpful seen as you dont know me, or what my business has to offer a fishery owner/manager in exchange for free/cheaper fishing thats a rather daft statement. So thanks for your stunning advice but i think ill chance getting turned town.Well if you had mentioned that you had something to offer I would of understood that maybe you had a reason for expecting some cheap fishing compared with all the other members on the water. Anyway a pm has been sent to you with the contact details mate.

  9. Another option is to use the fox pop up weights which fit on to the line using elastic to hold them in place. They are spot on for this type of thing and dont damage the line at all.
  10. It used to be for 36 hours (day, night, day) I thought these were the only sessions available. They are
  11. Its a mega hard water and not for the feint hearted or the beginner. A couple of winters ago me and 5 mates did over 300 nights fishing for one 15lb common. If you fish it every weekend for a year 5 to 10 fish would be a very respectable result for your efforts. At the moment it is mega weedy and I mean mega weedy with a lot of the lake unfishable. As Malc said the rocks swims can be very dangerous as I know from experience as I still carry some very bad scars from a fall I had on them a couple of years ago. If you fancy it, all the best in your fishing but you will find it very hard going. Jez
  12. Most baits are banned and the bailiffs are pretty strict so be careful, with the night fishing now banned catching the carp will be a very difficult job as it was mega hard before that. I would go in on maize and corn but be prepared for the Bream and a lot of time in chasing the carp.
  13. Lovely water but not much chance of getting on it.
  14. Im not surprised it was expensive at £400 for the fish that are in there.
  15. It aint easy there has only been two fish off in 2008, one in Jan and one to me last weekend.
  16. The large water just over the road from Bayliss next to the motorway.
  17. I hate the place with a passion, at the moment Im concentrating on the balancing lake having caught most of the other 20s in Telford over the years.
  18. Dont even mention Bayliss to me lol. There are some good fish in the Blue, Trench and the middle all have good 20s with fish upto 30lb.
  19. Rosehill is on the side of the A41 just before you get into Drayton, it was desilted a few years ago and restocked with some simmos to go with the original fish. It a nice looking water of about 8 acres, Im not sure of the fish sizes but I do know the were upto mid high 20s a couple of years back. Cost I believe is about £400 but its best to have a ride up there to get more info. Bomere I havent fished for years and its a bit secret squirrel so I cant help much im afraid. Have you fished many of the Telford waters or are you new to the area? Jez
