You're not wrong about the fish having been taken out and put in at various times over the last few years by loads of different idiots. Definately lot's of fish in the water now with plenty of doubles to go at, a good little runs water.

Some nice fish but far to many members for the size of waters and when you also get holiday anglers on there it's silly.

My lad fished it on Tuesday this week. He had 18 carp from various different pools including 3 or 4 doubles as well as getting smashed by a bigger fish. All he does is take a stalking rod and a bag of mixers and he always has a good day. Jez

It's not far from his other water at weston it is called white stytch and yes it will be a syndi from next year. The one in his back garden well its in his estate is the avenue which is being extended and i believe will be another day ticket water.Check out his website RH fisheries and there is a link on any of the water catch reports about the new water. Spend a day on the place with a plumbing rod and you will find a plateau that comes up a few feet off the bottom, stick a pva bag on there and you will catch.

I've posted the link somewhere on here but try the enterprise snag safe lead clips these are great for running lead rigs. Easy to change lead size and take the lead off when transporting your rods but also release the lead if it should snag up.

I'm not saying you dont know the bailiff but tell me this. What is the biggest fish you have had from there, what is the biggest fish you have seen with your own eyes from there, why is it that i know people who have fished it and they aint seen or caught anything bigger than about 18lbs. Bailiffs are notorious for bulling up a fishery to increase ticket sales, they do it all the time. It's a small hole in the ground fishery that aint been stocked with monsters and it never will be. Other than the Monument i cant think of one day ticket water in this area that has done a genuine 30lb+ fish in a long time. I know that pool hall did many years ago but that fish is long dead. I aint trying to belittle you but i've fished these waters for carp for the best part of 25 years and and they just aint there. Get a TAA ticket and do some home work and you will find some 30lb fish to have a go for.

Are you sure about the carp to 30lb, this place has such a reputation for bull shine, its just an old irrigation reservoir with a few carp chucked in there for the farmer to make a few quid from. Amazing that every day ticket water around here has tales of 30lb fish but you never see a pic of one.

Impossible lol it's got to be one of the easiest lakes in Telford. We used to get bored catching fish out of the place a mega easy water.

It's wrekin reservoir at the base of the wrekin and as for a very big common the best in there is about 28lb nothing bigger than that in there.
