Has Rushes lake removed a lot of fish to allow it to become a big fish venue.

Norhtfield has over the years become very busy especially weekends ,( I think rammed is the termanolgy) I fished it for around 4 years until 2008 and it was getting very hard to fish a swim you wanted and more often than not I had to fish what was left. a little bit easier during the week though Not forgetting the Stella brigade on weekends ,strangely enough the bailiffs didn't see it .............Ummmmm Now the Cats have come on I believe their are more anglers fishing for these. Its not a place I would rush back to now ,although back then had plenty of fish. go down and have a look. Linbrook I have only ever known as the Half pit ,much nicer looking lake but a lot harder to catch , very much quieter back then practically have the lake to yourself in the summer, although I believe it is seeing more anglers now

Ill see what I can find out in a few days , as myself an a friend were offered a long weekend fishing on a syndicate water on the IOW ,but that was several years ago so may have changed now, We never found the time to take up this offer back then.

Cant say I have heard of Linbrook off hand. Are Northfield and the Half pit the ones on the Ringwood ticket

What a LOAD of **** all this praise from all these new posters , People if you search other forums on this place you will read totally the opposite , i nearly booked their some time ago and thank god i didnt after what i read . Also these forums had an extraordinary amount of new posters singing its praises ,who rightly got torn to pieces , thread after thread about this place. Im thinking of doing a night on Shearwater just for a few runs ,anyone know how its been fishing of late and is it busy this time of year.

Assuming you live in and around the Salisbury area their are Ringwood and District A C and Christchurch Angling Club with venues 30 mins from Salisbury, although not in wiltshire they are in the Hampshire/Dorset area.

A friend was fishing their a year or so , All the fish he had were from the margins and at night , he did have a quit a few though .
