Busy wishing I was fishing whilst working on the car. Forced regeneration of dpf so hopefully some of the £500 I save cleaning it rather than replacing it can then go on more fishing stuff 🤞🏼

I was just using the power stuff but might give the cloves a go next time I fancy experimenting.

TBF it went down a treat with a brew made with my 2 man kettle I second that 😜. Will have to see what deals I can find on the other brands. TBF I only went for the Coleman as it was £21.45 from tacletavern(did post a link on here the other week, probably why they went out of stock so fast 🤔).

Mine does so can only imagine how load yours is. Bet it eats the gas on full power. I went for the single one as I thought gas would last longer. Don't take your eyes off it for too long. I killed my kettle as I put kettle on to brew, then had a bite and by the time I finished landing the fish it had boiled dry and melted the handle. There supposed to be really good in the wind though.

I used the mix I made up but not a single bite on the 2 rods I was using for particles. All my fish came from a 12mm nut pop-up away from the particles. I was on a low stock lake and there was some of things which didn't help like guests letting they're dogs swim in the lake and some numpty trying to skim stones. Don't have the liquid stuff but it's in the goat mix I've used a few times and TBF I've had some amazing takes on it. I've experimented with chilli and garlic and watched them go mad for the garlic on one venue local to me but after trying it on a few other waters I gave up trying. Seem to push the fish away(maybe over done it 🤷🏽‍♂️)

I've only got the single ring version and that sounds like a jet when it I wack it up. Cooked this up on it other night

Only going for the weekend Been meaning to buy some but keep buying other bits. Could spend money on fishing all day, everyday but unfortunately the pennies keep running out lol. Closest I've got to that is the goat feed that the misses uses for groundbait

I agree the best place to recover is on the bank.Chilling with the wildlife with a few carp thrown in for exercise lol. Take it easy though dude. I don't think of anything whilst on the bank. First thing I done as soon as I was mobile was arranged this weekend on a lake.

Thanks everyone. Am I better keeping it all with a covering of juice whilst it's in the bucket or leave it with no juice(does it keep better) Would rather ask on here as there's so much conflicting info on the twinternet. For example hinders say to add salt to the soaking process but I've thought salt causes issues with splitting 🤷🏽‍♂️ I've kept the juice from the hemp, tigers, conditioner and I've soaked the cut maize in the water I boiled the maize in

Should I have boiled the conditioner in fresh water or was it okay to boil it in the same water I soaked it in. Asking as the water don't look the best of colours after boiling

Almost 😁. New set of bite alarms next and a one man bivvy for the solo sessions Was between the xt and hydrotuff and landed up choosing the XT. TBF I swear by the gardener braid

Got myself a few bits n bobs to keep me occupied since I've quit smoking. 2 weeks now. Got a set of sonik herox 12ft 3.25tc rods with matching 10000 reels and the spod rod n reel. New carplife rod bag to keep it all tucked away nicely. Also got some dot spods and a air spod, distance sticks, prologic finger stall, glow in the dark butt grips. Syncro xt 18lb, more bits like tungsten tubing, run ring kits, Nash longshank twisters. Blake's baits 5kg of hemp, 5kg of tigers, 10kg of maize and 20kg of pigeon conditioner. 20kg of outlaw pro boilies and pellets n match the hatch wafters n pop-ups and some of they're fluro pop-ups. Also grabbed some NS minis to give them a whirl. Off fishing on for the weekend. Not even checked the weather. Just want to fish since I've been ot of action for a bit

Only feeling anywhere near I can describe it too is about 100times worse than being absolutely slaughtered when you hammered to many beers. Just found out I have vertigo I thought I was just getting motion sickness but finally went to docs today as I've been ill for days again(never go, always put it off) Never been able to travel as a passenger or go on any type of fair ground ride or a boat even as a child. The list goes on but always been okay driving myself. Recently even my own driving has been making me ill. Doc says it benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. Hopefully with the pills and exercises I'll be able to get out on the bank within next couple of days.
