I've got the one that puts out just a single flame not the 3. Been a good little cooker so far if you use the flame correctly. Turn it right up and it's like a jet engine. Had it for over 6 months. £21 for 6 big cans. Mine also came with a adapter to use the skinny gas cans

Weather was all over the place up at this venue on the mountain.

Didn't know that and I've got a contract SIM with them. It's only £6 a month so not badly priced. I've not had to pay it out of my pocket in 2yrs. I use this app called airtime rewards and I get money back on certain spends like Greggs, Argos ect after linking my bank cards then transfer it to my mobile bill. Giffgaff do some deals on pay as you go for under £10 if you don't mind not having alot of data.

I enjoy fishing for most species and even roach get the same respect as a carp if I hook one, but i do prefer to carp fish. The worst times I've seen for mistreating of fish is sea fisherman hurling they're catches back.

NO CARP then did you BLANK OR NOT!? I say: If you go carp fishing and catch every species in the pond except a carp then you BLANK!! She says: If you go carp fishing and catch anything at all even if it's not a carp then it's NOT A BLANK. I reply: I'm carp fishing not course fishing so it's still a BLANK if no carp grace the net!! Who's right lol.

I've had a some nice fish after the rain and nw wind when the waters all dirtied up. Less chance of them spooking off your rig. They have to rely more on the sences rather than sight aswell Only ever caught from one venue after the rain

If I'm honest I thought I was clever buying other stuff than what got recommended as it had more seeds but there's these red pellets in there that burn to the pan and is tainting the seed with a burnt tinge so I need to get something else. I will probably eventually try something with aniseed to compare the difference on I actually start catching. Not sure if I've been fishing or camping lately lol

I always wear my ambler boots. I practically live in them. The grip on them are amazing and they're waterproof. They do get a bit warm in the summer but I just slip them off as they also have a zip aswell as laces, so nice n easy to just leave the laces done up n slip them on n off using the zip

I done 24hrs Friday night and found the same as you. Couldn't buy a bite and they were just chilling in the shallows. Always guaranteed a fish or two at the minimum. Was supposed to be there for 36hrs but packed up early which I NEVER do. Usually it's "just 1 more bite". What made me pack away...... Firstly found out that for a year the owner has been getting any carp over 7lb and tench over 4lb put in a shallow weed choked pond in hope they'll breed and eat the weed That annoyed me but though maybe there's still a chance. But what actually made me pack away was the two anglers staying onsite in a caravan. They came down to a bivvy they had left setup(over a week according to another guest) already washing a can down the ones neck. They threw 3 lines in the water and all I could hear for 45mins was beep, beep, beeeep as they fiddle with the delkims Keeps getting better After they finished messing with the alarms they left the lake with they're lines still in the water, locked up the caravan n left the site. I reeled them in By the time I'd put the kit & bivvy down and loaded it all in the car they'd not returned. Found another review over a week old complaining about the same thing. Won't be going back there

Wish I knew that before I rinsed them. It's mad how bad it smells to us but not to the fish. How long would you say they keep as long as they're in a cool place without any preservatives(don't have alot of freezer space. The misses won't listen n keeps putting food in there 😂). I've read you can keep it until you physically can't stomach the smell Also if there's some left at the end of a session is it best to leave them as they are or cover them in water until next session or just add preservatives once boiled

@salokcinnodrog can I pick your brains again please 🙏🏼. How long can I keep the cooked particles with no preservatives. There so many differences of opinion online. I planned to go last Monday. They had the 24hrs soak and 30mins boil. After my failed attempt to get on the bank I added a bit more pond water to the cooked particles(not added anything to preserve like salt) so they were covered. I've opened them today to see if they're okay in preparation for tomorrow and the smell abit like sick(soon cleared my kitchen 😂). I know it's the fermentation process but don't know at what point they're bad I've drained n rinsed it with pond water n it doesn't smell too bad. Do you think I'm still good to use it or should I boil up the seed I got soaking

Can't help with the sat phone. I would prefer to disappear but can't unfortunately. I have a dual SIM phone with 1 SIM on O2 and the other on Giffgaff. Usually got signal on atleast one of them. Maybe you could find out what networks are best in the areas you fish

It does have it's fair share hidden gems. Options for fishing ain't the best unless you wanna sea fish
