I could listen to his fishing story's all day long, you can tell just by watching and listening to him how passionate he is about his fishing. I can only imagine how amazing it would be to spend a fishing trip with him even just listening and watching him fish, I recon I could learn so much about carp fishing. 🙂

I'm afraid I won't be rolling my own baits the amount of fishing I do doesn't really warrant it but I do think I'm going to be investing in a little bait freezer and swapping to frozen baits. I have been toying with the idea for a while it would come in handy for my pike fishing as well, it would free up a draw in our home freezer the wife will be made up. 😂

I've been using the nash instant action candy nut crush and coconut cream shelf life and they seem to be quite a hard bait is this normal for shelf life boilies? and is there anything I can do to soften them up? If I can't soften these boilie's up a bit can anyone recommend a softer shelf life. It's just that these seem quite hard as a hook bait and I feel when you get a pick up they must feel hard to the carp. Surely a softer bait is more attractive to a carp and softer boilie's must be easier to digest. Sorry if this is a stupid question 😀

I'd say remove them better save than sorry you don't want them leaking. 👍 We were sorting some of the kids old toys out this week and found a couple of furbys that had the batterys left in one had cheapo pound land batteries and the other duracell. The cheaper one were OK but duracell had leaked all over made a real mess. I wouldn't want that happening to my alarms. Take them out mate not worth the risk. 👍

Yes I agree humans can make mistakes but the original post was about waiting for a rod for 8 weeks that they sold me and neglected to tell me that it was out of stock. Thats my reason for not using them again. I have used them quite a few times in the past myself with no problems, my resent experience has put me off using the shop again but you never know I may change my mind. 😀

I eventually got my money back after just short of four weeks and another phone call to fishtec. 😀 It was a fishtec problem not PayPal. It turned out that the guy I spoke to the first time at fishtec had messed up cancelling the order, when I spoke to them again I got my money back in 48 hours. So I will definitely not be using fishtec again. 😤

I watched it and throughly enjoyed it. You've just got to take it for what it is light hearted entertainment and don't take it seriously. There's plenty of serious fishing to be had on YouTube if that's what you want, it just makes a nice change to see someone not taking life to seriously and enjoying them selves. Just chill out and give it a chance. 😀

Well i cancelled my rod. 😭 There was no problem cancelling the order, but from what I've read if I understand it properly I have to wait for up to 30 days to get my money back from PayPal. 😵 If that is the case I'm well *****d of considering they took the money when they didn't even have the rods in stock. 😤😤😤😤

Has anyone ever had any problems with the above company? I have ordered quite a few things in the past off them though the bay shop with no problems what so ever, but I ordered a rod around the 15th of June and they took the money via PayPal straight away and then emailed me and told me it was out of stock. They said it would be back in stock and delivered at the end of July. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and left it at that, today I got another email saying still out of stock and now will be the end of August. I'm going to phone them tomorrow and council my order and try and get the rod else were. Just wondered if anyone else has had any problems with them before.

On more of the budget side saber do a two piece carbon fibre pole with a 42" net and bag to put it in for around £25.00.😀
