  1. I only ever use 2 rigs... 1st is Spinner /Ronnie - 2 or 3 tied on ESP Tungsten braid & 2 or 3 crimped onto Korda Boom... 2nd is a loop to loop combi rig, Korda Boom crimped both ends and 1 inch stripped braid section Both rigs I use Nash claw hooks with a bait screw. Depending on lake bed bottom, on which rig is ude and both are used for Pop Ups, Water and bottom Baits. I've changed between different set ups, but always go back to the trusted lead clip system.
  2. As far as I know, it's free, it's all abit like 3 Sisters Park lake to be honest... 3 Sisters - Pros - FREE fishing, Anglers look out for each other, nice well looked after fish, looked after park, car park on site. Cons - Park gates open 24hrs, boy racers on car park, herds of 14-17 Yr olds n boom boxes, dog owners letting dogs jump in anywhere, supposed only fish far side people fish where ever they want, not supposed fish more than over half of lake, people making multiple fires. Also the place is no deeper than 4ft at most, still loads stunning fish in the lake, all boshing and cruising, only ever had 4 fish out there, last was my PB September 2020, can be a really tricky lake, I've done about 10 sessions on there and blanked 8 I think.
  3. No pal, just off a few mates, it's like another park lake I fish, open to the public, every Tom **** n Harry's turning up, its a deep place, some big fish in, Eg Tench, Pike Carp, but not many of them to be honest... Im giving park lakes a swerve at moment...
  4. I'm also a week off work, Wife's Job list to do.... Monday, after O2 Cinema priority with little en, to plain the doors. Tuesday, to tidy attic. Wednesday, do tip runs (about 4) Thursday, can I clean house top to bottom. Friday, - maybe a FREE day Saturday - visiting sister & her new pooch in her new house. Sunday - little en has a football friendly. (back to work on 9th)
  5. Was here at 4am, doing until dark, had to bring bed as dog wont settle otherwise.
  6. Ive only done it once so far, Sleeping Bag- I open it up, soak in febreeze, wipe over with anti bac wipes, then let it air out. Bedchair - I wipe it all over, then use a steamer to wipe all down the bed, febreeze it all, then leave to air out. Then place all back together. Job done.
  7. Looks like a good lot of air gets through there... Had the new AXS Bivvy out at weekend, decent enough... Front n back vents, was a warm en... Out again this weekend at the local park lake (home of my CARP PB)
  8. Setup now, he already had a million Roach n perch.
  9. Need 10am to hurry up... Like a kid at Christmas for every session lately.... Round the local park at 5am this morning with the dog... Back now sorting food n drink for 24hr session... Pick some maggots up for little en from Fishing Republic when open at 10am. Another Dad n Lad session like other week.
  10. I filled with my old box, but the Korda box makes look all tidy 👍
  11. That's what I thought, but wife's working, and I've got it at 36hr now for a steal of £20 for 3 rods, it's a dad n lad fishing weekend what they do every year, me n 2 mates are booked on for em with our kids too.
  12. Out area has give scattered showers all weekend, but temps still above 20oC...little lad n dog coming too, but both not keen on the forecasted thunder n lightning. I'm not fussed but due to little lad playing football and the incident with the young lad a couple of weeks ago, he now is scared to death about lightning.
  13. Who would risk it for next week, I'm booked on for 24hr - Weather forecast.
  14. For sure, didn't realise it gave about another foot or so. Was hoping be out tonight, but the Mrs put her foot down on this 1, but I'm out next week on a 24hr, week after for a loooo g day session, then week after for a 48hr.
  15. I think there awesome, not put the bivvy up yet, still in bag, but use the Brolly and overwrap at moment. The only small thing for me is how taught(tight) the Overwrap goes on and I makes the Brolly a little loose. But overall, great... Seen this pic online and didn't realise the space between bivvy and wrap.
  16. Won't be soon yet, but keep looking at the Green & Clear in 15lb.
  17. From Sonik... Brown, Green, Caom in 15lb to 22lb Clear and Red from 15lb to 33lb
  18. 100% sonik man myself, respooled mine other day with DPF 15lb...spare spools will have subsonik on, which I don't know yet.
  19. Been wanting to here some reviews on the Sonik Line 🤔🤔
  20. Hi Elmo, I've got the Korda Tackle box, but I went for just tackle box (left), not Bundle (right). Only because, I don't use leaders or anything, just the tackle box was enough for me, but it's better to have to much than not enough. I've just been tinkering with my Tackle/Bait, tidied the tackle out, pimped some bait, there's a 50/50 chance for Saturday night, but I'm 100% on a 24hr Next Saturday.
  21. Just had a tinker with Bait, made - 20 Krill PVA mesh Bags 20 Manilla PVA mesh Bags Glazed a few pop ups- Glazed Krill Pop Ups in Krill Supreme. Glazed Pineapple Pop Ups in Pineapple Supreme + Isotonic Supreme. (WOOOOOW STRONG) Glazed Manilla White Pop Ups in White Almond Supreme. Glazed Mulbz Pop Ups in Isotonic Supreme.
  22. Gone back to it, the last lot was Gardner Purple, this is Wychwood DPF.
