  1. Yeh, everything was "back to basics", standard lead clip setup, knot less knot rig fished Boilies only... Most basic fishing can do.
  2. I use DNA waders, decent I think.
  3. Sad news about Iain Macmillan... https://insideeko.com/iain-macmillan-death-obituary-iain-macmillan-has-died/
  4. God help her next week when she has a week off work... 🤣🤣
  5. From this... To this... Units were built that night, couch came 2 days later...
  6. I was actually contemating this also, but on the Heli Safe Tubing Kit.
  7. Let the Mrs do it pal... I went on a 24hr the other week, Mrs was bored so she redone the living room, gave away old units and 3 piece suite, came home to an all grey n white living room, new grey carpet, new grey couch, new white units... I was amaaaazed.
  8. I tell a lie, just looked at my photos and I went last Saturday, it was that terrible that's why it seems that long ago 🤣🤣
  9. Can't believe tomorrow is my 9th day off work and I've not even had 1 rod out....
  10. Yeh, Glamping pods, I'm not on Facebook either, but if you type it in on Google it let's you browse it... I think keeping it simple at first, and ask around on the lake or even the owners, I think they would want people to catch.
  11. Yeh, shows pictures of the bait/tackle are on Facebook page, also the Glamping pods on the lake. 1 picture shows 7 bivvys next door to each other, must get hammered?
  12. I wouldn't grumble at them. Prices for that place, some nice looked after fish in there. I'd buy myself and my lad a 24hr ticket.
  13. Just having a Google now... That's some good prices that 😳
  14. What venue is it pal?
  15. I only ever use 2 rigs... 1st is Spinner /Ronnie - 2 or 3 tied on ESP Tungsten braid & 2 or 3 crimped onto Korda Boom... 2nd is a loop to loop combi rig, Korda Boom crimped both ends and 1 inch stripped braid section Both rigs I use Nash claw hooks with a bait screw. Depending on lake bed bottom, on which rig is ude and both are used for Pop Ups, Water and bottom Baits. I've changed between different set ups, but always go back to the trusted lead clip system.
  16. As far as I know, it's free, it's all abit like 3 Sisters Park lake to be honest... 3 Sisters - Pros - FREE fishing, Anglers look out for each other, nice well looked after fish, looked after park, car park on site. Cons - Park gates open 24hrs, boy racers on car park, herds of 14-17 Yr olds n boom boxes, dog owners letting dogs jump in anywhere, supposed only fish far side people fish where ever they want, not supposed fish more than over half of lake, people making multiple fires. Also the place is no deeper than 4ft at most, still loads stunning fish in the lake, all boshing and cruising, only ever had 4 fish out there, last was my PB September 2020, can be a really tricky lake, I've done about 10 sessions on there and blanked 8 I think.
  17. No pal, just off a few mates, it's like another park lake I fish, open to the public, every Tom **** n Harry's turning up, its a deep place, some big fish in, Eg Tench, Pike Carp, but not many of them to be honest... Im giving park lakes a swerve at moment...
  18. I'm also a week off work, Wife's Job list to do.... Monday, after O2 Cinema priority with little en, to plain the doors. Tuesday, to tidy attic. Wednesday, do tip runs (about 4) Thursday, can I clean house top to bottom. Friday, - maybe a FREE day Saturday - visiting sister & her new pooch in her new house. Sunday - little en has a football friendly. (back to work on 9th)
  19. Was here at 4am, doing until dark, had to bring bed as dog wont settle otherwise.
  20. Ive only done it once so far, Sleeping Bag- I open it up, soak in febreeze, wipe over with anti bac wipes, then let it air out. Bedchair - I wipe it all over, then use a steamer to wipe all down the bed, febreeze it all, then leave to air out. Then place all back together. Job done.
  21. Looks like a good lot of air gets through there... Had the new AXS Bivvy out at weekend, decent enough... Front n back vents, was a warm en... Out again this weekend at the local park lake (home of my CARP PB)
  22. Setup now, he already had a million Roach n perch.
