Still waiting for the Trade Show video and new products... The AXS XL bivvy looks decent, inbetween a 1 man and 2 man, think its abit taller also, could do with some SKTek clothing range and a SKTek Buzz Bar Bag to complete the luggage setup. -

I did have an Xtractor Setup for surface fishing for the summer, but that didn't last long, I did have it out once or twice, was abit weird as used to 12ft rods.... Mate caught his PB on it also, 21lb 12oz and he said it felt weird also. Been looking at scaling down to 10ft 2 piece rods myself. -

True dat... Lately using 8mm Pellets putting 2 on banded hair rigs, that's what I'm catching on, with a mesh Bags attached. I've started to use as little tubing as possible maybe about 6inch inserted into XL Soft tail rubber.

Got a day off work today, thought I'll get a few hours on the bank while Mrs at work and little en at school.... BUT Wife has sorted an early birthday present and booked me in for my next tattoo. I've got a tattoo on my forearm and was my very 1st tattoo, I've always wanted it covered and apparently she's already picked out design, paid and everything, so I just need to turn up. 😁

Full confidence 👍

Saturday Morning me Elmo, for 24hrs, I've also got my Mix ready for 1 rod, then the introduced new bait.

You've basically said it yourself right at the beginning, if it's working stick with it.... If not try something else and ask about what people think about certain Baits (Trial and error)... I started off in Nash Candy Nut, did some fish, since moved to Sticky, got better results, now trying another bait option (Not Boilies) and myself and a mate have caught 21 fish in 2 sessions upto 31lb and that with no offerings around them and no pre-baiting. I ain't no Tom Dove or Mark Pitchers but Fishing is mainly a hobby and if everyone had the option we would be on the freshest and best Baits possible, but LIFE has other means and ways, and when we do get out on the bank hopefully we give 110% and try to reap the rewards.

Red Pond - I know lad who goes now and again for the Tench, some good ens too not many. Scotsman - there are some decent carp and Pike in there... Carp I've seen to 34lb, Pike to over 20lb, but very deep in places, most people fish around the island or even from it in the bay area.

I'll stick to my SKS all Purple I think, if I was to upgrade I'd go to the Gizmos, the SKX are too bulky, if I had the chance I'd go for the TXI D's all Purple (£550)

Sonik are doing there Annual trade on Katlov Lakes in Czech Republic.... Few things on way soon / 2022 also.... Xtractor Pro reel, 2/3 Rod Xtractor pod, Don't like em me, look cheap and seen some identical. If you zoom in on the Sonik then look at the above, VERY similar, but price won't be I bet... £90 for 4 receiver, bet Soniks are £190 3 n receiver. I'll wait for the YouTube video on Tradeshow.

Yeh, heard this few weeks back, does look interesting.

Subsonik line - any opinions or reviews?
... replied to dalej2014's topic in Carp Fishing Tackle and Equipment
Well, the line has soaked for over 24hrs now, just spooled onto spare spools... I can honestly say it was 1 of the better lines I've put on, went on with ease, no curly wurly, no kinks nothing...Saturday when I arrive at the lake I'll give all 3 a good throw out before fishing. A very small part of me thinks I should have gone the 18lb, but I still have enough left to do 1 more spool left on. -

They recommend Sonik Ultrasonik for Sea Fishing. Sonik SubSonik for Carp fishing The Clear Ultrasonik maybe a decent Carp Line in 15lb.. 🤔🎣
