Hi Nube, These certain Baits are shelf life, they will quite sofr, also 12mm on a swivel, I would personal think they will split, I use Bait screws for all my Baits, Pop Ups, wafter, bottom Baits... If ure using 12mm, a thin needle for a hair rig or bait screws would be best. I use the Manilla and keep mine stored in the bag they come in... No air drying or nothing.

Start basic and work your way up via, friends, YouTube.. Etc. As Salo commented below... My Fox Running Rig setup. I use a Loop to Loop combi rig with either bottom Bait or wafter, attached to my main line via quick change swivel, easy access to change rig. Mainline has some tubing on, but can be a naked setup. Indication on a run rig is second to none... No resistance fully like a lead clip.

Vass Tex 355 Camo Lightweight Waders
... replied to pablo7uk's topic in Carp Fishing Tackle and Equipment
When I've used them for the purpose, cast rods, play fish,... When all that is done and need to sit down, I just roll them down to top of wellie boot, then pull them back up when needed. -

That's what a mate wants, I think at moment it's the go 2 boat... Was thinking hoping halves on it? But since they 1st came on the scene, the price has nearly tripled on them... Seen em for Β£180, boat, battery, remote... Then today senn em for Β£280+
-
Thats mainly what I'm thinking, but a water we are both on has a few hidden overhanging trees and we know carp love under them, would be impossible cast, but a boat easy.
-
Hi All, As per title, what would be a good starter Bait Boat for Beginners? Myself looking, and a friend... We were looking at the Actor Boats, but seem to be sold out everywhere.
-
Forgot about Cyprinus... There's loads good bivvy out there now... Cyprinus and Aqua from same Factory??
-
Mates full AXS bivvy, setup in my back yard. The price he paid for bivvy, you can get brolly/shelter and wrap now, but also would need 2 poles and groundsheet too... Bivvy now around Β£250( no wrap) Brolky/shelter Β£120ish Wrap Β£100 ish Panel/Groundsheet Β£40ish Poles Β£30ish

That's a decent budget, The Fox Frontier is probably at front for most, followed by the Pioneer... A mate has the Full AXS Bivvy system, I have the Brolly for summer Months, with the overwrap if needed. Served me well so far in all conditions, 1 thing I would suggest if you go for the AXS, if you get the Bivvy it come with Groundsheet and poles... The shelter is 1 step down, with the option of adding the infill panel and groundsheet later, poles are an extra too... the Brolly is basically just that with option of groundsheet and poles.but no option to put an Infill panel... That why I got the Wrap us an extra layer... Also would recommend the actual sonik poles.

Top Brand names are getting better and better these days... Top 2, Aqua (Pioneer, Atom, Fast n Light) & Fox (Frontier, Supa Brolly) lately... I have the Sonik AXS Brolly with the matching overwrap. What's your budget?

Being 34, I should be loving it, but I also love my food, heaviest I've ever been now (12st heavy??) yesterday me n the lad went for a bike ride... Good 10 miles. 170 acre lake (Scotsmans Flash) looks very daunting... Seen a few on spoke to a few... Veeeery hard water, mainly Carp and Pike, BIG but in small numbers, people said if get a take its always a 20lb + but IF you get a take, spoke to 1 lad, and had 3 fish in 2 years. Back onto the exercise, I think biki g will be a new weekend pass time now.

It was an awesome bivvy, but most pegs we went to it didn't fit, 1 point I took a tape measure to measure up. Now when we go, little en sleeps in the bed, I stay in my chair. (if it's only 1 night)

https://www.wet-wellies.co.uk/camping-equipment/bivvies/carp-zone-hurricane-a-s-all-season-two-man-bivvy-with-overwrap-carp-fishing/ This is what I had everytime my son came... It was massive, loads room, he also had his own adult bed, was a Nash (forgot what model) and I had a TFgear wide boy. Only bivvy I've seen bigger is the Fox European /Continental, until Nash brought out the Space Dome bubble thing Bivvy.
