  1. Affordable housing, job creation, mental health supports, addiction treatment all work to reduce crime, and those things are enabled by all levels of government. Who you vote in as mayor or city counselor counts just like Crown ministers or party leaders. Having a say in who represents you is the beautiful thing about democracy (just like carp.com 😉). A quick scan of the world news drives the point home.

  2. You are right and I agree with you,and you have every right to be negative, I'm sorry for your loss pal, I saw something yesterday that was interesting the police don't prevent crime they turn up after it has happened, crime prevention needs to be tackled and that means stopping people living in poverty and giving them better choices, Until we get rid of this goverment, it's not going to get any better

  3. With the cost of living literally going through the roof and the wages still the same as 20 years ago, I'm afraid that crime will increase as people can't afford anything. The police haven't got the resources to cope, either. They are just like the tax man, looking for easy fines to dish out. Sorry if I'm being a bit negative, guys.

  5. Living off my old age pension limits my purchasing power but not my imagination. I use a home made barrow which is very easy to pull because of its large wheels, is preloaded at home, fits snugly into a VW Golf without packing/unpacking and makes a handy fishing station at the swim. Larger items simply strap on top. ----- and it has NEVER tipped over.

  6. Totally agree, it was when I found out homelessness could be eradicated for a lot less than the cost of our failed track and trace app that the penny really dropped, capitalism relies on poverty and homelessness to sell the dream you can achieve great wealth, and live the dream, when the reality is the dice are loaded and being privileged from birth gives you a much better education and grounding, which is sadly lacking in underfunded state schools but this goverment relies on keeping people poor and stupid, so the common man can make the elite richer through hard work for no real gain other than survival ,
