Well let’s see how this pans out , Arrived at this venue around 06:00 this morning and setup with bivvy up rods in around 07:00 Fishing three rod, 2 with pop ups and one with particle on , so far 3 fish 16-17 and 25

At the same time, I do like the heavier pod as it increases stability. Going lighter on some equipment is not always the way forward.2 points -
I've got a custom built stevie Neville F/O stainless pod, weighs a ton. Though the stability is spot on. Can really put my drags on tight knowing the pod isn't moving. That said I rarely use the thing because it is so heavy, other than if I know I won't get bank sticks in. My preference is for cork screws bank sticks as they are so much lighter.1 point

I think they are OK my pop up rig seems to work and has nailed a few fish on my test runs, I just think a straight point may be better, however I got some good news today bank tackle will be releasing some of the wide gapes with a straight point I think that will be the one Long shanks are really just to have a play with to see what I can do with them really1 point -

Fairplay to Retro Baits... did the 4.50 k price , also going to open up especially for me as that's a pick up price only . So going to pick 20 k up on the way to fish with the boys, then 80 k up on the way home for France. Both times opening up for me out of hours .
