Strange isn't it. I remember someone saying it's because there's all different scents on the letters in his bag and it confuses the dog. who knows lol All went well last night, we can go fishing in 7 days time. Even got a small bedchair sorted for her 😂

If I can recreate the problem I will indeed take a 'photo , but it's probably going to be like that mysterious noise you get with your car that disappears as soon as you get to the garage ! . When I plonk my rig into my ice cream tub with a bit of force that seems to sort the problem out , which makes me want to believe that when cast out the rig would hit the water and settle on the lake bed sitting up nicely . Aah , I did wander if I should add some shrink tube to cover where the hook eye joins the swivel eye . Thank very much fellas . 😀

Yes there are quite a number of dogs that go mad behind the letterbox , but when you meet them they are calm and friendly . I guess the dogs are just protecting their owners / their " manor " . One dog owner thought it's because Posties deliver bills and the dogs pick up on their owners getting upset when they receive these bills ? . Let's hope your puppy is better behaved than Yonny's , I'm sure I'm not the only one that's looking forward to the 'photos . 😊

Exactly that buddy. Too many lines in one area. I see this a lot, particularly in France where they're always pressured. I watched a couple of mates do this to very good effect (on a French trip funnily enough). Pretty much as you say; both baiting towards a central area, both fishing to their near side of that area. What would happen is one of them would pick up a fish or 3 then they'd back off. Shortly after the other would have a couple on the bank..... and so on and so forth. They bounced those fish off one another for a week, kept the bait going in, and they ended up with a very good tally of fish as you can imagine (including some proper units).
