si, i have a well known brand net with a fine mesh but i also get this problem from time to time. i put it down to the carp sometimes having a dorsal bone with a small barb that stands out from the fin and while the fish struggles in the net it becomes pushed thru the mesh. a little care and patience soon sees the carp back in the water unharmed i will add tho that my net is a fox warrior s and as far as i know that model has one of the fines meshes available on a landing net.

Or it may just be the waters you've been fishing. All part of the conundrum that keeps us coming back for more, and which means no one method is foolproof

get an account on photobucket, put your pics in a library on there then put them direct into your post like this thats not me by the way

I dunno how you can say that bivvy ? Do you just use one brand:type of hook for all your fishing ? Blimey i've got about 6 or 7 different brands & patterns that i seem to be forever chopping and changing , i dunno whether i'm coming or going :)
