Where to go for a week???

What good fisheries are there other than Bluebell, Richworth where Me and my old man can go for a weeks fishing. We're thinking of the last week in august and needs to be in this country. We want a good weeks fishing with the chance to catch a 30lb or two.

 

Has anyone got any ideas????

i've been looking at white acres holiday park in cornwall and anglers paradise but they might me to much family orientated for what you want

They're to much of a camp site me mate. I want somewhere were it looks peaceful, i know it will probably busy but as long as i cant see many other anglers that would do me just fine oh and its got to have some good fish in the lake.

Furnace lakes near Horsham 4 lakes to chose from carp into the 50's

cats to 100lb + but it dose get busy good facilities but no food.

what about thorney weir in west drayton, middlesex?

 

not a runs water but has a good head of carp.

 

14 acres, £14 a day for 3 rods.

 

hundreds and hundreds of 20's with a very good chance of something better. neither easy nor hard.

its a little village called marchamley bud and the fishing is good odd few tench and bream but some nice carp and a 60lb cat also in there

olivemead lake near swindon i highly recommend it you can book the whole lake exclusive if you fancy it to your self has got a few 30's aswell
