i take it you mean gold valley in aldershot. from a match fishing point of veiw its not a bad venue, from a carp anglers point of view its not good starting with the price £35 for 24hrs is shocking. the lakes look a bit baron they cut to much plants and trees back leaving it to exposed lacking features.u have to use there pellet and so on.
you have to remember it is a match fishery so it should suit your needs rather than mine so i am biased i actually believe they turn nightfisherman away as they prefer day fishing only
there is a article in this months carpology mag about wildmoore saying its a great place to fish and we shouldnt bitch about it on forums if we dont know the truth. dont spread rumours.
who said they were rumours the evidence is all there for us to see
cheers ben have got the info on the lake sorted it was just the other stuff really do you know how much is the average price on toll roads as the route planner says i go on about 4 partial tolls and 6 toll roads

Has anyone fished the river Wey before as i have access to a few good swims on some private land that doesn't get fished at all and was wondering if any one has any tips or tactics. I have seen some barbel and chub in the shallows but there are easily spooked the water is about 4-8ft deep and has a good flow of water
