carpmandan Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 Hi looking for a good van hire company to take 5 anglers gear to france. We will also be taking a car for anglers. So only need a transit type van that can fit two anglers in as well as gear. Any help would be great Quote
goblin Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 where you based mate, five loads of gear in one transit will be bloody tight going Quote

goblin Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 no that was me,and it really is likely to be a tight fit. lay all your gear out and times it by five then add all that bait etc etc. and I use a trailer because I do very very very long sessions frequently, not two night hits Quote

goblin Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 never made any assumptions to the contrary mate Quote
sharpy86 Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 never made any assumptions to the contrary mate I understand...Work your nads of so the misses can live a life of lesuire, then i get to go fishing all the time!!! Even better, get rid!! (please no-one tell her i said that)  Anyway, back to the topic, there are loads of companys out there mate, I use 1van1 when i need to hire vans for the site crews at work. Pretty reasonable, give them a ring and ask about overseas usage tho. Quote

bluebirdjones Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 Five of us went in April in a long wheel based transit with a cabin for a week. We filled it to the roof and we didn't take much food and bait as that was supplied at the lake. The cabin takes up about 1/3 of the space in the back. Quote
