I'm sure they are a good bait but i wouldn't use them, Shimano don't make baits i doubt they have any kind of production in the UK of any of their products? This is another fishmeal bait, if they want into the bait market they need to come up with something original.

I believe Mark Holmes is associated with them now.

Personally I like to buy bait from a firm that produces bait rather than reels and gears.

I think that Shimano want to be involved in every part of carp fishing now, and bait is possibly easier to break into rather than bivvies and bedchairs...

So many established names in every aspect trying to outdo each other...

I get your point but shimano is just a word and a company. What's important is how good the bait is allowed to be and how it catches. They proberly order their production from another company's factory.

Would be interesting to try them though.

I had a really good run on the RN20 boilies from shimano last Autumn. Solely boilie fishing, caught my new pb common (32ib still a bit of a nod, so don't judge 😂) and had my biggest hit of fish on my local lake. 12 fish in as many hours. Would definitely recommend these. I used 18 millers on a blowback just FYI.
