TheSouthShieldsFisher Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 Hello all. Just a question I would like to ask, I’m currently looking for some suggestions as I would like to purchase 2 bite alarms on a budget and I’m not really sure on what I should go for, I have looked into a few different brands but I don’t really know what’s what as I have never used a bite alarm and I’m pretty new back into carp fishing. My budget is around 100/130. Thanks in advance 👍 Quote
framey Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 Get something simple and reliable without a load of buttons that are not needed.Once they are set how you want them they never get changed anyway!! Nash S5R Fox Gardner TLB+ neville mk2 or 3 something you do not need a receiver for but is available if needed later on crusian 1 Quote
crusian Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 Just adding to what Framey has already said ; I once bought a Delkin because a lot of people rave about them , but I sold it and my Fox Micron M's do what I want just fine . If later on your needs change the Micron's are cheap enough to keep as back ups . Watch out that it's not you that gets " caught " by some of the fishing companies hype ! . 😃 Quote

smufter Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 (edited) You won't go wrong with a set of these. I've had mine for well over a year and they have never given a moments problem, despite some heavy drenchings...and the battery life is phenomenal https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JRC-Radar-CX-3-1-Alarm-Fishing-Presentation-Set-NEW-Multi-1404484/372158423867?epid=2069713517&hash=item56a65ee33b:g:yicAAOSwA3dYRCfm Edited September 17, 2019 by smufter Quote
