Gazlaaar Posted August 16, 2018 Report Posted August 16, 2018 In your opinion, are these the same fish? yonny 1 Quote
yonny Posted August 16, 2018 Report Posted August 16, 2018 Imo no. Quite a tricky one tbf. Gazlaaar 1 Quote
Gazlaaar Posted August 16, 2018 Author Report Posted August 16, 2018 Both exactly the same weight, I know there's a few fully''s in there, I took it as being the same fish but the more I look the more I question. yonny 1 Quote
yonny Posted August 16, 2018 Report Posted August 16, 2018 (edited) They're very similar but one has a mouth that is far more over-slung than the other and the lower lateral lines look very different. One is more chesty than the other and one has an area free from scaling above the anal fin. Edited August 16, 2018 by yonny Gazlaaar 1 Quote

Gazlaaar Posted August 16, 2018 Author Report Posted August 16, 2018 Yeah same rig, supple braid hooklink, size 8 curve in a solid pva bag. yonny 1 Quote
salokcinnodrog Posted August 16, 2018 Report Posted August 16, 2018 The lowest row of scales look different and the scale count and pattern just above the ventral fin is different, so in my opinion they are different fish. I would love to see those fish in daylight side on pics, you'd only get accurate identification that way. levigsp, B.C. and harpz_31 3 Quote
