Would you contemplate doing a weeks drive and survive with only a good quality 60" brolly for shelter?

Bearing in mind you would be going during the height of Summer, so hopefully not too much rain or wind and the temperatures should be good, even at night.

Most I've done under it so far is a 48 hour session which was fine. But 7 nights?????

Thoughts.....

Yea deffo,it's a bit cramped compared to a bivvy obviously, but as long as your brolly is in good knick it's fine. Did 5 nights at Cromwell in mine with no probs.

Soory buddy it was just info, as for the drive and survive, i reckon i would stink worse than i do after seven days, no way.

There's a decent shower block there and I will change my clothes on a daily basis.......

Might go without a shave though..... oh the pleasure in that for a week.

Baby wipe baths are great !!!!!

Seriously, the only real prob (not that it's much of a prob) is storing the extra kit you take for a week. Can be a little cramped but with it being summer you'll be spending most time outside anyway.

What about grub and bait, you need a hell of a lot.

Food package available (which is supposed to be the mutts) and about 10kgs will see me through. And there are bait freezers in the cabin....

I stuck my old wheels back on especially stevo

Doesn't sound like a drive & survive with shower blocks & food package available.

I class "drive and survive" anything without a slate/tiled/thatched/flat roof and a proper bed.
