ianain Posted February 27, 2015 Report Posted February 27, 2015 but the whole point about football is we all love the uncertainty, once we lose that its game over. Very true and well put, will add that the game also needs to be entertaining, not defending the goal and hoping for a counter attack. Quote

ianain Posted February 27, 2015 Report Posted February 27, 2015 Defending is part of football, and an art in itself Very true stevo, I'm not saying no one should defend, I'm saying they shouldn't only defend with 9 defenders, 1 goalie and 1 striker. It makes for boring and pointless football. I'm just saying, tis all snowmanstevo 1 Quote
snowmanstevo Posted February 27, 2015 Report Posted February 27, 2015 I see your point mate, but in a results driven business lots of teams are too scared to lose Quote

dalthegooner Posted February 27, 2015 Author Report Posted February 27, 2015 ... the Germans one . With Bayern 11 points clear and gonna romp the league again, I agree. Quote
snowmanstevo Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 With Bayern 11 points clear and gonna romp the league again, I agree. Still a similar league to ours Dal it's just we have 2 runaway leaders the teams placed 2,3,4 in the German league have lost a similar amount of games to our 3,4,5 placed teams ..... Bayern would win the prem as would real and barca ..... Infact if it was a European super league I reckon chelski might nick 4th ..... At best ! Quote
muftyboy Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 not just west ham, football in general , used to watch any game I could, England is the only time I get worked up for a game now but they are worse than West ham ☺ Quote
muftyboy Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 The problem now mate is because Sam isn't gonna get another contract the players are just gonna go through the motions , safe in the premier , no cups to go at , it's just going to go stale. Quote
muftyboy Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Sam should stay imo, as i said to tim, whenever he has left a club or been sacked they have been relegated within 2 seasons, we NEED to be in the premier when we move into the new stadium,Sam will not get us relegated, many other managers have. muftyboy Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Oh and can you remind me cm what thread your particle prep guide was on, I'm going to a lake easter weekend that I think would be perfect for the particle approach. cheers Quote
muftyboy Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Just found it mate ,I'm gonna start the process on Monday. Quote
muftyboy Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 One question mate, you say to reheat every couple of days, do you continue until you use them or is there a point where you stop and then just leave them in the bucket? Quote
muftyboy Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Cool , think I'm gonna upset the missus over the next few weeks. Quote
muftyboy Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Will do mate,it's a lake with quite a good head of carp but not very pressured and although I rarely blank I always come away thinking I could and should of done better ,this might change things. Quote
newmarket Posted March 1, 2015 Report Posted March 1, 2015 Well I have to say , that West Ham performance yesterday was abysmal . They strolled around as if they didn't GIVE a fck. Now I've been watching West Ham for 45 years and I think I know the koo over there . Most West Ham fans are easily pleased ( look at CM's love affair with Allardyce lol ) . All we've ever really demanded is a decent standard of football , a bit of entertainment . Results , although preferable , have never been the be all and end all over there . Same with league position . Most Hammers fans settle for the occasional relegation if it means 4-3 defeats and a good game to watch . Entertainment has always been priority along with one other thing . Effort . We've had some really poor teams in the past . I can remember standing at Oldham in the freezing cold with it peeing down with rain losing 6-0 . I can remember standing on Arsenal's North bank watching us lose 6-1 in the 70's . I can remember standing on the Anfield road watching us lose 5-1 and getting relegated ( lyall was sacked afterwards , but as embarrassing and hard to take as those results were , one thing stood out . The players played their hearts out for the shirt and for the fans . We've had players such as George Parris , Christian Dailly and , to a lesser extent , Kevin Norun() . Most Hammers agree that their footballing skills were questionable . Poor even . But the one single thing that the South Bank would agree on is that they tried their best , sweating blood and tears for us . The performances at West Brom in the cup and yesterday ? Pathetic and I can't even blame BFS who looked and sounded like a broken man in the post match interview. I am very very sad today ianain 1 Quote

I am very very sad today Premiership for next season assured so the players have nothing to play for. Players know the fans want BFS gone. Players don't perform for BFS. I think it's that simple. The board either have to get behind BFS or punt him. The club is in turmoil internally until the management is sorted out. Edited March 1, 2015 by dalthegooner Quote
