Best braid ?????

Hi,

 

I was looking at a friends braid and it seemed to have a camo effect to it, it going green then a darker green then back to a lighter green.

 

I was just wondering if anyone knows what it is or could advice me on some really good braid to use.

Are you looking for a coated or uncoated braid?

 

For years I have stuck to Kryston braids for both, and use Merlin, Supernova, Mantis or Mantis Gold.

 

None have failed, so I see no need to change, although I have recently been looking at Sufix/Gardner braids with a few ideas just in case.

Suffix camfusion.....suffix herculine....both do what they say on the tin!!....herculine sinks like a stone...still supple...and really thin diameter...camfusion....just brilliant ....and even better for the fact I get them at four quid for 25mtrs ......instead of 12 quid

ESP sink link and korda N Trap soft both brilliant.

sink link is total gash!!! sorry mate but it is....it doesnt sink anywhere near how it should...and as for abrasion resistant...its just NOT....stuck with it for ages because I do try to stick with ESP gear but...nope....just doesnt perform IMO

Jel-E-Wyre for me- I hardly use anything else for hooklinks.

 

Bit pricey though- £14!!

Have used ESP two tone for a while now and not had a problem with it
